A: AnswerI have one of the earliest models of the Nitro 5, and it installed in mine just fine. Couple warnings though: If you want to refresh your operating system after installing it (recommended to avoid hardware glitches), you'll need to remove any additional hard drives (otherwise it errors out). Another thing: after refreshing the operating system, it will only recognize the SSD until you install all of the Windows updates. A: AnswerFrom what I can see your motherboard has a m2 slot made for 16 GB PCIe® NVMe™ Intel® Optane™, Now Optane modules sold in 16GB and 32GB capacities are meant to work as a cache memory bridge between RAM and storage, allowing for faster data transfer between the memory, storage, and proccessor. From what I can see and have tested with similar nvme/m2 slots. You can use higher data modules just fine. Great option. Outclassed by newer drives
One of the best drives for the money. It isnt as fast as the gen4 drive but if you can get it on sale you will be very happy. its still very fast and reliable storage and its hard to recommend any alternatives as this is one of the best gen3 drives on the market. although if you are able to get a gen4 drive with the same storage at a similar price there is no reason to buy this.
