All the Best, The Insiders Team Mareleopard 09/17/2018 21:21 The Samsung Flexwash is beautifully designed. Its black stainless steel gives my laundry room a sleek, modern look. Before it was delivered I'd considered building a pedestal with laundry basket storage underneath. (Thanks, Pinterest!) I'm glad I didn't. I'm tall, yet would have had trouble using the upper washer. Besides, with this washer I can't imagine the laundry piling up, so the extra baskets aren't really necessary. The 5.5 cu. ft. capacity is pretty roomy. During delivery they had to remove the laundry room door. Be sure to not only measure the space for the washer, but the doorways through which it needs to pass. It's huge. The first feature I tried was the FlexWash. I loaded it with several small articles of clothing, like socks and undergarments, a girls' pair of shorts and shirt, and an a adult t-shirt. It did a nice job. Keep in mind that the FlexWash holds more laundry than the FlexDry is able to accommodate, so don't expect to be able to dry everything at once. Also, be careful not to overload the FlexWash. I tried washing a small throw, but it must have been too much, because the center of it didn't get wet. The detergent is added to the machine using an Aqua Pebble, which is a soft flexible cup. Just fill the Aqua Pebble and put it in the bottom, before adding clothes. I envision myself using the FlexWash most often for small items. Perhaps now I won't have so many missing socks. The main washer has every setting I could possibly imagine. It needs to be installed to the left of the dryer if you want to be able to easily transfer the laundry between machines. It's quiet, even during the spin cycle. That's important to me, since my laundry is not far from the main living areas. I like the diamond drum, which I is gentler on my clothes than my previous washer's drum. Be sure wipe the glass and the gasket, and leave the door ajar after each use to prevent mold. A few weeks after getting the machine my husband adopted a large, short haired dog. I've noticed that the gasket tends to trap its fur, so I'm always sure to pay it special attention when I wipe it down. I also have a tiny, 5 pound dog. Her fur was never noticeable. It's only since the adoption of the large dog that I've noticed fur in the gaaket. It's really not a big deal, though, since I wipe it down due to moisture anyway. I recommend this machine. It looks great, performs well, and has the added bonus of being two washers in one.

Perfect laundry machine for busy moms

With three young kids I have wished so many times for a solution for my laundry problem. Every day I have a big load of laundry but during the day there is always a stain accident on clothes but those few clothes won’t fill up a full load in the laundry machine. The Samsung FlexWash washing machine came up with the perfect solution for that. It has a small washing chamber on the top for small or delicate loads and a big washing chamber on the bottom for bigger loads. The FlexWash is bigger than most washing machines. It sure is bigger than my previous ten year old washing machine. The black stainless-steel washer (which has a finger print resistant finish) has a chrome trim, a blue LED display and a curved modern stylish look. It looks great in my laundry room. The top washing machine is big enough for an outfit, delicates like underwear, sweaters and I am using it mostly for small amounts of laundry when my kids make messes. It has its own separate set of buttons to operate the upper laundry machine and you can choose different cycles. You can also adjust the temperature manually. This top washer is a life saver for this busy mom! The bottom washer fits big loads of laundry and gives you a lot of different washing cycles to choose from. Depending on the cycle, you can also adjust the temperature manually and set the machine to rinse or spin. You can adjust the level of soil ranging from heavy to light. The washer can wash two loads at once so no need to wait for one load to be done when you have delicates to wash too. The displays for both drums tell you exactly how much time is left in each cycle and a blinking indicator tells you which part of the cycle each load is on. The top and the bottom washer play a song when the cycles are finished. I am really impressed by how fast the quick wash cycle on the bottom washer is. My laundry came out thoroughly cleaned in just thirty minutes. The steam feature is meant for hard to get out stains. Overall I am really impressed by how clean the laundry comes out of the machine no matter which cycle or which washer I am using. The top and the bottom washer are very quiet. Another smart feature is that the FlexWash can be connected to the Smart Home app, available for Android 4.0 or higher, and iOS 8.0 or higher. You can start a load of laundry in the top or the bottom loader via the app. The Samsung FlexWash is a great washer and makes doing the laundry feel less like a chore! The FlexWash is a great appliance with the flexibility to wash a big load, a small load, or both at the same time. It is like having two washing machines in one! I highly recommend it!

It is not possible to be HAPPIER

I purchased the FlexWash and FlexDry in February and it is not possible to be happier with an appliance purchase. After much shopping and comparing, I had made my choice for the Samsung FlexWash (5.5) and FlexDrier. The BestBuy associate helping me with my purchase price matched even better than I had found. Units were delivered as scheduled and unpacked and brought into the laundry room without a scratch. Yes, as some other reviewers reported, they are large. Large like solid refrigerator large, but the dimensions listed are correct. I didn't allow for the dryer vent and so my unit extends past my door frame by a couple of inches, but that is an error on my part. That being said, I LOVE being able to do two loads of wash at a time. The top unit holds a few small items (dish towels, pillow cases, and the towel I forgot to put in the last load) and the bottom unit has held all my regular laundry and a full-size bedspread (separate loads). I generally do a wash load with whites on top (so I can use bleach for those few items) and a full load of colors in the bottom. Then I put the brights in the dryer and do a load of darks in the washer. Any dedicates from all three loads then get dried in the top of the FlexDry. That makes three loads washed and dried in the time of two loads. For me, that is my entire laundry for the week. I had a couple of error messages during set up, but they were all readily resolved by my reading the manual. They are really the best thing since sliced bread. :)

After 16 years with the same Whirlpool washer and dryer, which actually still work! We decided it was time for some new ones. The Flexwash is an amazing upgrade! I love the ability to wash 2 loads at the same time. The upper washer has more space than you realize. The lower washer is very large and does an amazing job. The different wash options are very handy, especially when there are a large number of people in the house. My family loves the fact that it can be started even if we aren't home, which I didn't even realize when we bought them. The things to take note on would be that both Flexwash washer & dryer are deeper than many older models; not just Samsung. Be sure you have enough space! Mine stick out about 4 inches farther than my old ones. All in all, if you are looking for a good product that does a great job and has some fun bells & whistles.. this is the product!

I'd been looking for a new W/D set for a while. The pair I had was 11 years old and ready to quit any moment. When I saw this set at Best Buy with the double washer, I knew I had to have it. I absolutely LOVE this washer. I never thought I'd say that about an appliance. I love I can wash smaller loads in the top that don't need to go in the dryer while washing the larger loads in the bottom. I think this has cut down on my laundry time. My only real "con" is that the song it plays when finishing a cycle is a little long and tends to drive me nuts. I live in a small house without a dedicated laundry room, so it can get annoying. BUT that is my only real complaint (and we plan to have a bigger house with a laundry room in the near future). I wish I could either alter it or turn down the sound but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. At any rate, I love the washer. I hope it lasts me at least a decade.

Really impressed with this one! Highly recommend buying the matching pedestals. It’s difficult to drain the water (recommended once a month) because it sits so low to the ground. Having it elevated off the floor makes this easier. That’s the only con to our old washer and dryer. They came with pedestals, but this is a la carte. Other than that, I have no complaints. I’m able to wash small loads on top while washing reg/large size loads. Make sure to keep lids open on top - the detergent dispenser as well as the top washer - along with the main door to allow to air out when finished washing. Wipe the rubber seal and door a small well.

We love this washer! Top loader works great, I washed a load in the morning before work and was able to put it in the dryer before I left for work (30 min) wash. Only con is the door opens from left to right and my water hook ups are on the right side so it opens towards the dryer. Lucky the dryer I'm able to swap the door opening on the that so it opens in the same direction. But it is a hassle to reach over the washer door to put the clothes in the dryer.

Unfortunately, my machine was not properly installed. So buyer beware, be vigilant and make sure that everything is screwed in properly and all transport-related items are removed by installers or you will ruin this machine. There is too much that can go wrong. I also found that even with the 6'' inch pedestal the door was still sat too low to the ground. Finally, I feel this machine is too big and bulky unless you have a laundry room the size of a bedroom to put it in.
