A: Yes, you can use the WiFi feature without activating the cellular.

A: Only if it is 4g LTE.
Q: Can this be activated for me to use a pay as you go SIM card or do I need a monthly plan
A: Already had SIM Card. And Yes, I am using a Pay-as-you-go Plan, $25 for 3GB.
Q: Can this tab be used with other carrier ? If no, can Samsung unlock it?
A: No, this model is currently locked and would need to be used for the length of time AT&T requires before unlocking to use with other carriers.
A: This model comes with a single SIM card.
Q: Does ithave the play store to download the Square App I need?
A: Look at "PAY ANYWHERE" over a SQUARE! SQUARE app & Pay Anywhere apps do come from the store. Call Pay Anywhere & see @ an account. Think rates are good. The SQUARE plugs in but Pay Anywhere dongles are wireless & very secure!
Q: Can I swap my SIM card back and fourth from my phone to the tablet?
A: Yes. I ask the same question while at the store.
A: No you have to call ATT to update the new sim card. The new tablet uses a smaller sim card then the tab 4.
