A: That's entirely up to you, but I got the Bluetooth only version of the Watch5 Pro and have no complaints. I also have my phone with me everywhere I go, so I use the watch to make and take phone calls and it works flawlessly. Technically, you can still make and receive calls through your Bluetooth variant watch if you have it connected to your Wi-Fi network that your phone is connected with. Realistically, getting the LTE variant is not a big deal at $50 more. If you can afford the Bluetooth variant then the extra fiddy spot more for the LTE variant isn't of concern. I'd say get the LTE variant if you don't usually have your phone on you or you're not usually near a Wi-Fi network. If you are off the beaten path all the time and always out and about without your phone, nowhere near Wi-Fi, get the LTE variant so you can get connected almost anywhere you are. The Bluetooth variant is what I picked and I (with regard to my specific situation and experience) personally don't see the need for the LTE variant. Some may want it, just to have it, it never hurts to have too many connectivity options/solutions! But, with my cell always being on me and being connected to an unlimited data plan with plenty of high speed mobile hotspot data, I'm content with the Bluetooth variant Watch5 Pro. This variant does everything I need from it, when I need it to, without requiring the LTE variant. Hope this helps.
A: With battery savings disabled, location services enabled, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled and all sensors running, I'm averaging just over 2 days before I charge the watch. I usually charge it around 15% battery remaining. If you enable power savings the entire time and turn the watch off overnight while you sleep, I'd imagine you could get an extra day or two more of battery life, depending on your usage of course. I use the watch moderately throughout the day including making and taking a few calls on the watch itself, and making and receiving quite a few texts. Google assistant with the "Hey Google" hotword is enabled all the time as well as all sensors enabled and tracking. Absolutely love the watch, it's a beast! I'd imagine with good care (screen protector and case, I've got Spigen's 9H glass screen protector and their rugged armor pro case on) you could get many years of good use from this watch.
A: It's gone completely it has a digital one on screen you just rub you finger around the outside of the screen
A: Samsung has announced that some of the watches features will not be activated until some time after the launch date. Why they choose to do this instead of having them all active at launch I have no idea!
A: Yes, but only with the LTE version which is $50 more. Plus you'll need to pay extra for a plan with your carrier.
Q: what size is the watch band
A: Galaxy Watch 5 Pro uses 20mm watch bands. The magnetic band it comes with is pretty great IMO. Durable, comfortable, and easy to take off/on.
A: I can't speak on the apple watch but I have the watch 5 pro and it's very awesome for heart montoring. If you get the Samsung watch 5 pro, I highly recommend getting the cardiogram app. It documents accurate readings in graph and data form that can be downloaded in csv and pdf form. I use it for neurological related disorders that affect my heart rate and I've collect very good data to be able to share with my specialists. If you look at my review, I compare the difference between the Samsung health monitoring for heart rate and cardiogram and I include pictures of what both data collections look like.
