A: as I understand it, your phone needs to be on but does not have to be with you. the watch sends the text to your phone, wherever it is, and then your phone sends it out. this way the text still appears to come from your regular phone number rather than the whatever number the watch is using.

Q: Would you explain "2years LTE data included " fif I purchase Samsung Galaxy watch8 LTE?
A: undefined
A: undefined
Q: Can I connect it with my iPhone 13 plus
A: there's an app in the app store called "Merge" which links the galaxy watch to iphone
Q: What is the difference between a GPS and GPS+Cellular?
A: Hello Nita, thanks for asking us your question about the Samsung Galaxy Watch8. The main difference is that a Galaxy Watch8 GPS/Bluetooth model needs your phone nearby for calls, texts, and streaming, acting as a fitness tracker when alone, while the GPS + LTE model has an eSIM, allowing it to function independently to make calls, get messages, and stream music/apps directly from your carrier's network without your phone. If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Support. Thanks for being a staunch Samsung customer. - Debra

After spending some quality time with the latest smartwatch from Samsung, I am thoroughly impressed. The first thing you notice is the design; the refined chassis and brighter screen are a really nice touch, making it comfortable to wear all day and easy to read even in direct sunlight. The performance is where this watch truly shines. The new processor makes navigating through apps and widgets incredibly smooth, and the battery life has seen a significant boost. I was able to get through almost two full days on a single charge with regular use, which is a great improvement. For me, the standout feature is the advanced health tracking. The new sensors provide incredibly accurate data for workouts, sleep, and overall wellness. It’s an awesome tool for anyone looking to keep a closer eye on their health

This watch is great i get two days on a charge very responsive i like the screen size only thing that is a bit of a challenge is how the band connects to the watch the old school way with the little pins that's gone I'll probably get the hang of it and so wish they still had a band that closes like the 5 pro but all in all I'm really enjoying the upgrade i had the seven for a short time wouldn't last a day unless i changed a bunch of settings

Great watch. I only upgraded because my old watch was BT and I now need an LTE so my family could connect with me when i don't have my phone. Runs fast, no issues with battery life, although I do charge it every night. Only downside - I'm on Cricket and was going to switch to Verizon. When going through the setup process I ran into the issue that these watches will not work on their service. I researched and found there's a ton of people with the same issue, and Verizon can't do anything about it. I'm currently using the 2 year free service that came with it. Works with your current number, but you can only text, no phone calls.
