Q: Does it have a microphone for voice commands?
A: This does have a microphone.
A: No this is the same issue for the one I bought my wife also, I called samsung support and they told me that it is normal- the runtime isn't supposed or designed to last 24 hours on a single charge you will need to charge it 3 times throughout the day to have it operational for a 24 hour period can you imagine, Had I been given the chance I would've returned this unit the same day but now I am stuck with it, Another $200 down the drain...
A: Yep does all of that. Sports are limited as to what you can pick. Will also automatically detect workouts
Q: What's a better choice the fit bit ionic or the gear fit pro 2 when it comes to features
A: I was a longtime Fitbit user. I think the iconic will be a nice device and fitbits apps are some of the nicest out there. That being said, if you are using a Samsung phone, the gear fit 2 pro provides a lot more features for less money. I really like that I can view stats, charts, and maps right on the device without having to open the app on my phone. I wish Samsung health was a little more streamlined. It will come down to how much you want to spend and what features are most important to you.
Q: How does this work and connect with the iPhone 7? Do all features work or do you miss out on those?
A: Everything works with my iphone7 plus.
Q: Does this new Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro track sleep?
A: Yes and very well. Thought I slept like a rock. Shows I sleep 93-98% Shows deep, light and restless times on a timeline. Synced with my samsung health app. Happy 2 days at most battery
Q: Will the Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro also accurately track a workout on an elliptical?
A: I purchased the Samsung Gear Fit2. It does track your workout on the elliptical, but it does not count the steps anywhere close to accurately. I step 7000+ times according to the elliptical and the Samsung Gear Fit2 only counted 1500 steps -- it counted 2500ish steps when I attached it to my sneaker. It also counts steps as I slept (roughly 300 one night alone! and no, I do not sleep walk!). I was disappointed in the Gear Fit2.
Q: Does this check blood pressure and sleep
A: It checks for heart rate based on blood pressure and keeps track of sleep activity, but it doesn’t show actual blood pressure readings
