So small and so many songs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The SanDisk - Clip Sport Plus 16GB* MP3 Player is perfect for my running music listening needs. I've already downloaded over 2700 songs and it's only about 60% full. With the clip there is no need for a separate carrying pouch. I just clip it to my shorts. It also has Bluetooth but the cheap $20 headphones I paired it with kept breaking up so I went back to my non-wireless headphones. I play the volume at max level and it's OK but I would like it a little louder but this may be a headphone issue. Overall it's way better than my former Sony 16 GB player that was bulkier, no clip, died after 9 years and was twice the price.

Good for listening to music.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't used it much, but I like it, the sound quality is good. I also like 5hat I can hook up Bluetooth Headphones to it. I don't like the preloaded music, I wish there was a way to remove the preloaded content.

Only good.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I dropped two stars because the clip on my player cracked. It possibly cracked because I did something wrong but I don't recall what, The device was not dropped. Note: as I took a picture to submit I see another crack. This has occurred after I glued the initial crack yesterday. I know I have not had an accident. The crack occurred from my using the clip. This is not good. Now I have to decide what to do if the clip breaks entirely. We have 2 Bluetooth mp3 players and 2 regular clip players. My wife recalled that years ago her clip broke on her older player. Otherwise battery life in Bluetooth function is as advertised. Some of the functions on the player make more sense than on the older players. For instance when initially starting and going to start Bluetooth the back key takes the player back to the current selection. Importantly the selection buttons are not as sensitive on the newer player. This is good because on the older player inadvertent touching could activate an unwanted action. If I get past this problem I will be satisfied with the device

My daughter's in love with her birthday gift.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our daughter just turned 16. She does not have her license and is not allowed to date so Xbox, Facebook, Snapchat and music are her life. After taking her out to eat we headed over to Best Buy. My wife and I told her to look around , pick something out and we would see what we could do. For under 50$ the SanDisk 16gb Bluetooth MP3 player was the icing om the cake. She says"Maybe the money we saved there will go toward the car she'll be getting soon.' '726 song and no where close to full. Any hope of Best Buy selling cars any time soon?

Clip will break
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although this is a pretty good player, the clip on the back will break. Have had mine for about 3 years now, but about a year ago the clip on the back broke, making just an MP3 play....not a clip. I still recommend the player, but don't rely on the clip. Be wary of this and SanDisk will not support as it falls under their "Damage" clause and will not replace or fix.

Q: QuestionHow do you actually get music files onto this device? Do you need to have them on iTunes? I want to get this for my son but he does not have iTunes or any online music account so not sure how he can start collecting songs and adding to this device
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer You do not need I-tunes. You need to put/have music (from examples: CDs or downloads) into your computer in the music files. Open "My Computer" on your computer. Click on "Music". The various music artists in your music files should open. Once the SanDisk is plugged into USB you can open it up, open "music" and copy & paste the music into the SanDisk mp3 player directly from the opened music files in your computer. Also if you want to make playlists, you can open "playlist" on the SanDisk, and again have your music files open on your computer. Then copy and paste the songs you want from your computer music files in the order you want to make a playlist. I changed the number (the actual numbers on the tune in your computer which could be whatever # it was on the CD) once it was in the playlist to be in the same number order I wanted it to be in the playlist. I think these little SanDisk players are great for the price.

Q: QuestionCan you use this to play books from Audible.com?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I spent an hour on line with Audible, and we cannot get the SanDisk Clip Sport Plus to accept its audiobooks. No books appear in Book folder, and in ROOT folder, Audible and Audiobooks say "insupportable format" or something like that. Audible says that it support the SanDisk, and they promise to keep working on it, but for now it doesn't work.

Q: QuestionDoes it function better than the old model, the clip sport?
Asked by Marc.
- A:Answer Better? I would say NO. I have both. Some points: • It has the same menu system. • It looses SD card. • It adds bluetooth. • It looses the ability to speed up audiobooks. • It's slightly larger. • It's water resistant, but all the ports have bothersome plugs which will probably break at some point.

Q: QuestionWill FM radio in this unit work with wireless headphones, or do wired phones serve as antenna?
Asked by FMlistener.
- A:Answer The answer is yes to both......you need to plug in the wired ear buds to serve as the antenna, but I can hook up bluetooth to UE Boom 2 speaker (should be same as wireless headphones ) and use the radio function via bluetooth and speaker as long as wired headphones were connected serving as antenna
