Lateral / Vertical Adjustment The mount provides up to 9 inches of lateral shift after the wall plate is installed. To make that side-to-side adjustment, the TV does need to be removed from the mount first. Vertical adjustment is set during installation and isn’t intended to be adjusted afterward without reinstalling the mount.
