Q: Why isn't there a service plan offered for this product?
A: The protection plans available through Geek Squad for headphones are product replacement plans. Due to the low availability of these headphones, as well as the cost, a product replacement plan doesn't make financial sense for the company. Unfortunately for people who buy this set of headphones, that means the built in cord is a major downside. That said, Sennheiser offers their own 2-year warranty on this set of headphones that covers anything to go wrong with them not resulting from abuse of some kind.
