8 Ohm Speakers

The Control 65P/T is a compact full-range, two-way pendant-type loudspeaker that provides superb sound reproduction and very consistent, wide coverage for rooms with open architecture ceilings and other locations where a pendant form factor is desired. JBL’s patent-pending Radiation Boundary Integrator(RBI) technology, adapted from the groundbreaking VERTEC Series of line array loudspeakers, delivers consistent coverage of the listening area. Combining a large 200 mm (8 in) diameter waveguide with low-frequency projection apertures, the two coaxially-mounted drivers provide a seamless integration of coverage, resulting in extremely even pattern control and coverage where all listeners hear a consistent, high-fidelity sound quality. The wide 120°coverage pattern allows for the use of fewer speakers, reducing the cost of the installed system without sacrificing performance. The Control 65P/T contains a high-quality 60 Watt multi-tap transformer for use on 70V/100V distributed loudspeaker lines, and is switchable for 8-ohm voice-coil direct operation.

The AW526 is a high power, lightweight, 2-way, full-range loudspeaker system comprised of the JBL Differential Drive dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap 2265H 380 mm (15 in) low-frequency driver and 2432H high-frequency 38 mm (1.5 in) exit, 75 mm (3 in) voice-coil compression driver. The large format Progressive Transition wave-guide provides excellent 120° x 60° coverage. The waveguide is rotatable so the loudspeaker system can used in either the vertical or horizontal orientation. The system can be operated as an 8-ohm device and is equipped with a 400W transformer for 70/100V applications. A corrosion-resistant extra-thick zincplated polyester powder coated U-type mounting bracket is included. The enclosure is constructed of multilayer glass composite and is heavily braced to maximize lowfrequency performance. The 16-gauge stainless steel grille, backed with open cell foam and stainless steel mesh, provides excellent protection in the harshest environments. The Control 85M Mushroom-Style Landscape Speaker is a two-way highly weather resistant speaker providing 360 degree coverage of the listening space.  A highlighted mid-range presence cuts through in high ambient environments for especially clear paging and voice content while providing excellent full-range sound quality. Designed to be mounted on or in the ground, the Control 85M can be used in a wide variety of applications including landscaping of homes, pool areas, hospitality and leisure venues, entranceways, and anywhere a high quality music and/ or paging speaker landscape speaker is required. Its compact size allows the speaker to blend into landscaping and shrubbery, while its tough hunter green polyethylene enclosure resists abuse from lawn care equipment and the elements. The enclosure color extends throughout the material so the speaker will maintain color even when scraped or scratched.

The Control 60PS/T pendant subwoofer loudspeaker provides bass extension and high impact for high-fidelity sound systems in a wide variety of applications including restaurants, retail stores, health clubs, leisure venues, and other locations where full-range high fidelity foreground/background music systems are utilized. Featuring 150 Watt power handling and low distortion, the long-excursion 200 mm (8 in) low frequency driver features butyl rubber surround for well-damped, tight sound quality and long-term reliability, and a polypropylene-coated cone for humidity protection. The high-temperature 50 mm (2 in) voice coil and low-mass fiberglass coil former ensure good bass transient response and excellent stability under high power, high duty cycle, working conditions. The Control 60PS/T may be driven by itself (or with other subwoofers) on an amplifier channel, sending it either a signal that has been actively low-passed earlier in the signal chain via DSP or a full-range signal, utilizing the built-in passive 125 Hz low-pass filter. The included passive crossover also provides high passed satellite outputs for use with either two or four satellite loudspeakers (not for one or three satellite speakers), resulting in a full-range, wide-bandwidth, passively-crossed, mono subwoofer-satellite system. A 100 Watt multi-tap, wide-bandwidth, low saturation transformer allows the speaker to be used on either a 70V/100V distributed speaker system or as a direct low-impedance 8ohm speaker. A loop out connector is provided on the subwoofer for looping the full-range input signal to other loudspeakers or to other subwoofer/satellite systems.

The AWC129 is a compact, coaxial-driver, 2-way, highly weather-resistant full-range loudspeaker system which is ideal for speech and music in a wide variety of applications, including sports facilities, outdoor background music/ paging systems, swimming pools, and a wide variety of other outdoor or indoor venue types. The AWC129 is comprised of a high-power coaxial 300 mm (12 in) low frequency driver and 25 mm (1 in) high frequency compression driver. The co-axial design utilizes a unique design, the result is a coaxial speaker with wide, extremely consistent 90° coverage on a broadband basis. Component features include a Kevlar-reinforced low frequency cone for reliability, well-damped surround for smooth frequency response, high temperature 75 mm (3 in) voice coil and a reduced distortion design through saturated-gap magnet geometry. The high frequency compression driver features a unique patented design, high temperature polymer diaphragm, and fluid-cooling for high output levels with low distortion. The paintable enclosure is constructed of thick ABS plus fiberglass and is heavily braced to maximize low-frequency performance. The corrosion-resistant zinc-rich extra-thick powder coated steel grille is backed with open cell foam and high thread-count mesh, providing excellent protection in the harshest environments. The system is equipped with a 200W 70V/100V multi-tap transformer. Connection is made via outdoor-rated terminals in a recessed terminal cup.
