A bezel-less design features minimal borders around a screen, creating a nearly edge-to-edge appearance. Most bezel-less TVs, monitors, laptops, and smartphones still have a thin frame rather than eliminating the bezel entirely.
Bezel-less and frameless are often used interchangeably to describe displays with slim borders. Neither term necessarily means the screen has no frame, and some displays have thin borders on three sides with a more noticeable border along the bottom.
Bezel-less designs appear in TVs, computer monitors, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Depending on the device, the display may include a camera cutout, a notch, or a visible bottom border to accommodate hardware.
