FAQ
Build a summer camp care package around downtime activities and reminders of home. Ideas include handwritten notes, printed photos, puzzle books, playing cards, and stationery for letters. If the camp allows electronics, consider tech accessories that match your camper’s permitted devices.
Depending on the camp’s electronics policy, headphones, a charging cable, or a device case can complement a care package. Choose accessories compatible with the devices your camper is bringing, and check camp guidelines before including electronics.
Consider a journal, drawing supplies, word puzzles, playing cards, or letter-writing stationery. Add a few conversation prompts or a family trivia challenge for a personal touch. These ideas give campers options for creative projects and cabin downtime without a screen.
Take inspiration from your camper’s hobbies, favorite colors, and camp activities. Include a note celebrating something they’re excited to try, photos with handwritten captions, or a journal with a few prompts inside. Messages from family members can make the package feel especially personal.
Try a cabin game night theme with cards and trivia, a creative downtime theme with a sketchbook and drawing prompts, or a memories theme with photos and a journal. Choose one theme and build around your camper’s interests while following camp rules.
