Q: Why is it 1000$ off? What's it compared to onkyo, dennon, metsntz? Is 60/chan enough?
A: because of new models AVR10 which is now offers for $2499. this is better than the brands you suggested due to DIRAC calibration. it is less on features and better on sound.
Q: will this receiver support true 8k tv/audio without having to buy more cables?
A: This receiver will not support 8k content. It can only support up to 4k 60Hz.
A: If you want to do a 7.1.4 system you will need to add another two Chanel amp. The receiver is set up to add the needed equipment. I do not have an ATMOS system. You CAN however do a 5.1.2 without adding another amp.
Q: Does this pass through HDR10/Dolby Vision?
A: HTR10 - Yes. Dolby Vision - No.
Q: Anyone know if this receiver will do ok with 4ohm speakers?
A: Yes. Useable with 4 - 8 ohm speakers.
A: No, this one has no Bluetooth.
