A surreal horror movie about classism
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Director Brian Yuzna isn't very well known in the horror community but from watching Society, his directorial debut, it's clear he should be more popular. First off I love society: it features weird and surreal moments throughout along with some of the most wild makeup FX to date, decent performances, and a social commentary about the wealthy keeping down those of lower classes. It comes with a bit of special features and a nice transfer courtesy of Arrow Video (fantastic company) with an audio commentary by Yuzna and plenty of interviews with cast and crew. Not a well known movie but that should change!

Surrealist Special Effects Extravaganza
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A nod to a time of practical effects wizardry and wonder with a message that hits hard in Today's world. A bit clunky in places with some questions that never get answered, but all in all, a good movie.

What did I just watch?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This movie is so bizarre. I loved it, but it's definitely not gonna be for everyone. Kudos to Arrow for finally releasing movies in the states. I can't wait to see more from them!
