Asked by Easterbunny.
- A:Answer Order 2 - 1.35 mm x 3.5 mm DC plug power extension cords. Splice together to create a Y cable. Plug into solar panel cord and two cameras, they charge fine. I have 2 solar panels and 4 cameras set up like this.

Q: QuestionWe just had our spotlight cameras installed last week. They all have the solar panel with them. However, they are all sending low battery messages. How can batteries be critically low after a week and with a solar panel?
Asked by CamBattery.
- A:Answer Make sure the panel is in the sun constantly. Also check to see if the cable is out, mine came out a couple times because I can't get the screw from behind the spotlight cam off to latch it down.

Q: QuestionCould I use the solar panel and internal battery at the same time? For the ring security cameras
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The solar panel is intended to be used along with the internal battery (as the camera would be offline approximately 50% of the time if purely run solar with no internal power source). Make sure to purchase the specific solar panel for the battery camera and not the stickup camera as they feature different external power connections on the solar panel.

Q: QuestionWhen using a solar panel after initial installation do you need to change anything in the Ring app setup procedures? Thanks.
Asked by Camguy.
- A:Answer No, you just mount the solar panel, run your wire to the camera and plug it in. Nothing else to do.

Q: QuestionThis might be a silly question, but does the Ring Solar Panel require an outlet? I can see a wire in the picture, just not sure if that connects to the security camera or goes to a plug.
Asked by KadisMeMe.
- A:Answer No it does not get plugged in. The cord is to connect it to the devise. I love ours. We have one of our stickup cameras connected to it
