I purchased this TV because I had a 40" for about 10 years and really liked it but the picture started going out. So I purchased the Sony 50" thinking I was upgrading. The TV itself is okay, I am not a Tecky and I think today's entertainment comes with too much unnecessary info, however the reason I am not giving this TV a better rating is because I purchased an open box excellent condition from Best Buy (BB) and they sent me via UPS delivery an open box in trash condition. After carrying it up the stairs, unboxing it and setting it up I found out the horrible condition (see picture attached). After several irate calls to BB, I found out they have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I wound up having to purchase the TV again and returning the trash one (wait on my refund which took weeks). BB never provided any legitimate support and showed very little concern. TV is okay for the price, but BB has no quality control and very very poor customer service. Also in this day and time of profit over performance, I am sure they don't care.

Very happy with purchase the quantity and picture is amazing. The sound is extremely loud for a small TV packs of big punch. Feels like air in the movie theaters. Definitely would re-purchase.

The Sony tv had a higher price, than other options, but I’m glad I went with it. Note: I don’t do reviews typically. It has a nice picture, and has been easy to navigate
