A: Yes, you can certainly play an entire album, if you wish. You can also choose your music by track or by artist. The playback typically follows the source material. In other words, if you copy a CD into the player, it will play the tracks according to the separation on the CD itself. You can, however, set it for gapless playback. I can tell you that the player is a sweet piece of audio equipment. We love ours. But please note that it is not a media player for streaming your music over WIFI. It does stream Spotify and Tune-in Radio, but it only plays music that has been copied to the player. On the other hand, it does allow you to copy music via your WIFI network.
