A: The code will come within 4 days after you register the player at Sony's site via email. Here is a tip: If you already have a Sony account DO NOT LOGIN to your account once you receive the code. Instead click the link in the email and pick your movies and checkout - If you happen to login to your account you will not be able to use the code.(You'll receive a invalid code message and will not be able to proceed) I have notified Sony of the issue so it may be resolved by the time you read this. If you are already logged in to your Sony account log out first to complete the redemption. Good luck.
A: What you need is a new TV if you want the best answer. However, there are devices that take HDMI "in" and [may] output composite or component video. I say "may" because the conversion of HDMI to composite will likely look awful. If you buy a device from, for example, Amazon and you are a Prime member and buy a Prime product, at least you will be able to return it without hassle. I hate to break it to you, but, seriously, if your TV is so old that it has composite video and analog audio, you really owe it to yourself to replace the old TV with a new state of the art model -- Best Buy is your "best friend" in helping you get one of these new TVs -- and they will even send the Geek Squad to set it up for you for about $150. This is NOT the unit to buy and attempt to downconvert to a TV this old. Hopefully I've not said something to upset you, but I am telling you the truth. You NEED a new TV to fully appreciate this X800 unit.

A: I've only used 10' Mono Price Premium Certified HDMI Cables. Ensure your HDMI cable has been certified for 18Gbps. Look for the HDMI Premium COA when buying HDMI cables. These cables have been tested and certified by a HDMI authorized testing center for 18Gbps which is required for 4K HDR. Longer cables runs over 15' have had issues sending the required signals from many UHD players.
A: The Sony will stream 4k content from Netflix and Amazon.
Q: is Model:UBPX800 the same as ubp-ux80
