It's basically all she really wanted! That pretty much shows that this not only appeals to kids, but to adults also . I love SpongeBob too! She loved season 8....of course, although she did let me know that the humor in the later seasons (like this one) is more adult risqué than the first couple of seasons....so for small children, I might not advise. Be safe and get Season 1.
