A: Not to my knowledge. This is basically used to hook up a HD monitor to a computer that doesn’t already have an HDMI port.
Q: Does this adapter work with a chrome book ? Does it extend the monitor screens?

A: No just plug and play. I didn't have toinstall a driver.
