    Synopsis

    Step Up 2: The Streets
Director Jon M. Chu takes the helm for this Step Up sequel set at the Maryland School for the Arts and following the journey of a rebellious street dancer who struggles to fit in at the prestigious school. Andie (Briana Evigan) may show great promise as a dancer, but she just can't seem to let go of her old life and get a fresh start. With Baltimore's hottest underground dance contest looming on the horizon, Andie joins forces with top dancer Chase (Robert Hoffman) while simultaneously helping to sharpen the skills of her outcast classmates. Perhaps if Andie, Chase, and their talented team of misfit dancers can earn the top slot at The Streets, the troubled new arrival can finally make her dreams a reality while also letting go of the past, and bounding confidently forward into the future. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

This is a great dance movie. The choreography is fierce and the soundtrack is HOT! Not to mention, you get a glimpse of the Jabbawockeez and other real life dance crews. The acting is somewhat poor but not painstakingly bad. Other than that, it's a very fun movie and the dancing makes you wish you can dance like them. I got to say my favorite character is definitely Moose and by the way, the final dance scene.... BLAZING HOT!

One of the better dance movies out there!!!

This is one of those specialty type movies where you watch it to appreciate the dance moves that people showcase in the movie more than the actual acting ability of the characters in it. Overall, I was highly entertained and the movie is very upbeat. I recommend this movie if you're into the dancing aspect of it and can overlook some of the dialogue. Most of these actors were hired for their dancing ability more than they were for acting.

For those who love to dance and are inspired to dance, this movie takes it to a whole new level. I love most dance movies simply because of the dancing. I'll even overlook a not so great story for the dancing. What this movie does that most others don't is the camera doesn't stray from the dancers (at least not very often). You get to really see the moves and what they can do. Buy it, you won't regret it!

Another Great Movie that Dancers Cannot Stop Watch

Step Up 2 is an awesome movie although I feel Step Up was a little better. Robert Hoffman does a good job as the hero, but I still feel Channing Tatum is more believeable. The star of the film isn't the hero or the heroine though, it's Moose, played by Adam, who's acting and dancing should be greatly commended. A great plot, and a must see movie for dancers and dance enthusiasts!

I loved the first Step Up and was excited for the 2nd one. It has so awesome dance scenes but the story is just ok. Some of the acting seemed pretty lame and the climax didn't build very much. It is a cute movie but nothing that is going to blow you away.

This movie is awesome. You can watch it over and over again and never get tired. There are amazing dance scenes in the movie and the actors are great. In Step Up 2 there is also some drama which definitely add to the movie.
