Some glitches but got fixed WITH lots o hassle. Best Buy has a crappy 15 day return policy that I don’t remember being told about & I stood my grounds & got swagtron after over a month to replace.
We contacted the 800 number like instructed out of the box instead of Best Buy, which we didn’t kno they had a 15 day return! It was day 12, swagtron told us to charge it 2 days & instructed us on a few things to try so we did then called swagtron again & they said that we would need to send in. So I figured for $500 & 12 days of use I’d return it to Best Buy. But it was day 16 & they refused it! So then we called swagtron to get RMA for return & ask them if this was gonna cost us shipping was told NO.
Got it boxed & headed to ups. Label was for shipping for their receiving department and was going to cost $100 to ship the thing. So I contacted them & so I’m trying again and told them that I needed a label that paid for the shipping and handling because that’s what I was quoted. This took almost 30 days for me to get somebody to get me the right label, at that point I was almost dealing with an expired RMA.
which then would be refused so I got the right person on the phone, they got me the proper tag & we finally got it shipped off and they fixed it free of charge and we received it back but in the long run we were without it ALL SUMMER. Lots of reviews have said they paid the s/h but persistence paid off!
So Best Buy wasn’t my Best Buy in this situation & we had multiple people unwilling to fix it or offer a solution. Swagtron tried to make it difficult & didn’t want to pay s/h but they did, so all in all. Be careful who you spend this kind of money with.
