Great for beginners - fixed lens - slow autofocus
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This lens is great for entry level photographer. I paired this lens with an a6000 and when matched with some good lighting it works wonders. Main complaints are the slow auto focus, loud mechanics, and plastic body. Event photography/video look great. Also this is a fixed lens does not zoom so you will need to get active to get that shot.

Great Lens for APS-C Cameras!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Clear, crisp, and handy!!! Nice Lens especially for my Sony a6500. Opens it up to the equivalent of a 50mm on a full frame camera. Nice addition to our photography business!! can't be beat for the price!!

Best budget lens
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second set of prime lens from Tamron and it does a really good job capturing sharp images. I love the macro capability, autofocus is quick enough despite how noisy it gets. Overall, this lens is a must buy.

Q: Questionwill this work on my canon 6D mark ii?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Basically NO, unless YOU can design and build your own lens mount adapter (but be warned, the Sony E mount is for mirrorless cameras, while the Canon 6D mark ii is not a mirrorless camera).

Q: QuestionI plan to used this lens on the a7 II. Is this lens sharper than Sony FE 28-70mm F3.5-5.6 OSS Lens? Because I’m very disappointed with my kit lens not being sharp.
Asked by Sunrise.
- A:Answer I have found that the 28 70 takes a lil getting use to , ive had to find the sweat spot out of everyones AUTO setting and set in priority and have to do little work at all in post production.
