Outstanding Product!
||Posted .This Targus-Versalink Dual HD Video Docking Station works perfectly! I originally purchased a StarTech DVI Dual Monitor Docking Station to connect my wife's HP laptop to two monitors. The first one took nearly one hour to finally connect to the computer, then kept disconnecting on its own. After spending over an hour on the phone with StarTech tech support, they determined the docking station was defective. I contacted Amazon and they promptly sent me a replacement. The second one was even worse and never did connect completely after numerous driver installs and uninstalls. I then went to Best Buy and purchased the VersaLink with the (same basic features as the StarTech). I connected it to the same laptop--it downloaded the drivers automatically and I was up and running perfectly within 2 minutes. The second StarTech went back to Amazon and everything has been working perfectly for nearly a month now.

Lots of connection options in very small footprint
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This is a very versatile docking station for those of us who have computers that don’t have a Thunderbolt ports. Lots of connections and works well with up to three monitors in full HD.. if it has the ability to power a PC I could not figure it out and ended up buying a separate power station. My only complaint it is too light and small and the cords move it off my desk.

Awesome Device for Multi-Screen Use with a Laptop!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed.I am very happy with this docking station. I am able to switch between different brands of laptop without difficulty. The only issue that I have with it is that the ethernet port does not work properly with my vpn for work as I could not find a way for the authentication protocols work, so I have to use my wifi to connect my laptop directly to my vpn instead of thru the ethernet provided in the docking station.

cost more than I expected but worth it
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. It did cost more than I expected but with working from home it was one of the best purchases I made during the pandemic. all it takes is a usb from my laptop. I am able to interchange it with my MacBook and any other type of laptop. Setup was a little frustrating at first but it was well worth it after downloading all the necessary applications.

Good low profile docking station
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Nice low profile docking station. It is rather expensive but does exactly what it is suppose to. No setup required, just plug in the power cable and usb cable that comes with it and you are all set.

Q: QuestionI have an Asus HDMI monitor and a Dell monitor. I need the capability of seeing both screens along with my laptop. Will this do the trick?
Asked by Sam.
- A:Answer Yes. I can connect two monitors at same time. It's plug and play - just plug two monitors to the docking station. There are three monitor ports - one HDMI, one DVI and one display port. Only maximum two monitors can be supported.

Q: QuestionIs this docking station compatible with DisplayLink Software?
Asked by DisplayLinkCompatible.
- A:Answer Yep, it certainly is. I'm currently using it with two displays on an M1 MacBook Air. To be clear, DisplayLink handles both of the displays connected to this adapter, so neither of them count toward any capacity limit the host computer might otherwise have for external displays (i.e. the one-display limit on an M1 MacBook Air, the two-display limit on a Thunderbolt chip).

Q: QuestionWould this allow a early 2015 Macbook pro to drive two screens? One being mirrored from the laptop and the other being an extension?
Asked by Mike.
- A:Answer It does not say what models of mac this will work for but on the system requirements it says that it supports Mac OS X v10.9 or later. Also i don't know if your mac has just a usb c or if it is a traditional usb port but you might need a converter because it doesn't have a usb c port. Also it says for more info on compatible systems go to visit.targus.com
