My wife screwed up her charging port on her phone and we needed to find a phone fast and on a BUDGET. OMG she stop saying thank you all day lol. I've bought Tcl televisions before but this was my first in the cellphone department. Right out the box its gorgeous and feels great in hand. Operation is very smooth and haven't encountered any glitches. Display is beautiful with great viewing angles even in daylight.. Pictures are great but nothing like a Samsung but you can always edit. Phone says it doesn't support rapid/fast charging but it only took 1hr 15 minutes from 39% to 100% which is very good for this price point. Face and fingerprint unlocking is super fast. Overall hands down one of this years best budget phone with premium feel.

Want to put 4 and half stars but can't. This is so far one of the best phones I have had as a budget phone. The main reason for half star off, is that there is only one major update from Android 10 to Android 11. Not really to me a great start for a company to only give one major update. Plus, part of that half star taken off is, that I have not received this so called Android 11 update, and they are showing that USA is last again with another foreigner country. Not trying to be rude, but if you expect customers to rate you better, then make them feel comfortable with your products first, and not hold them last after others. If I actually got Android 12 after a while too, then I would think differently.
Anyways, back to my thoughts about the actually usage of phone. I need a phone with more than 32gb ROM, and this had 64gb ROM. This also enticed me with the 6gb RAM. I have read reviews that say this phone lags. Well, I have slight lag but really not noticeable, just in the settings app, and scrolling, and most other times through any other part of the phone was smooth sailing. Battery is the same as my other phone, Samsung Galaxy A20. So last about the same.
I was looking for a phone to utilize the Qualcomm AptX HD codec, and this phone does use it, with my Cleer Enduro 100 headphones, NICE! Hard to find that codec on the phones, since Samsung is pushing towards their own stuff now, and took the codec off their phones.
There is one slight problem with this phone, and I think it is TCL phones only. The recents app where the apps stay in background, if you have more than 3 apps open, then apps get bumped out automatically, and this is a TCL problem, because I never had issues like that with other phones. I could have more than 10 open with Samsung phones, and still not get an app bumped out of recents. Besides this, the phone is one of the best I have had for the price.
What I do not get from reviews, that compare to Motorola phones is that Motorola is actually better. The only thing Motorola has for them, is the splash resistant, and that is nothing much to water resistant. Motorola phones do not even have NFC for the price range but this one does. So this one you can use payments with it. So I am glad I chose this over Motorola, and be missing out on NFC. I recommend this one. Just hope they change on the 1 major update to 2.

I had thought of buying a certified used cell phone but then I came across a review of this phone. It was a very good review so I figured I'd try it out. This phone has performed beyond my expectations. The screen looks great. It's LCD but it's bright and vibrant and over 6 inches with small bezels. The phone zips along-i have not had instances of it slowing down. Finger Print reader on the back and NFC so you can use Google Pay. The camera is not comparable to the best from Google or Apple but it was 70% cheaper than those phones. Calls sound great. The speaker is asking the bottom and is loud and clear and you can increase storage by popping in a micro SD card. Charging is done by USB-C. This phone gives you a ton of features for the money and I highly recommend it!

After using my TCL 10L phone for almost 4 months, I can safely say that I am extremely happy with my purchase. I bought it on sale for just over $200. For the price, it is a premium budget phone. 6 GB's of RAM, 64 GB's of internal storage, and expandable sd memory card slot for 128 more GB's of storage. Multitasking split screen for 2 apps simultaneously on screen. Also has a great camera.

Very excited about this TCL10L.
It does everything I need without the 1k price. Email, shopping, work apps, you tube videos. The features are nice and work. Facial recognition, FM Radio, Finger scanner. Bluetooth connection no problems, have not tried the multiple yet. Camera, to me looks great, I'm no pro, but it blows up label's great so you can read them. It also comes with a case that feels good in your hand and screen protector (installed). Only extra thing you need is a SD and Sim. Works with ATT/T-Mobile GSM. Now I have not played any games or recorded videos yet.
But for 250, I think I got a great deal.

I didn't know what to expect with a TCL branded phone. I know they make TVs so I thought "Why not?".
This phone is amazing! Everything is fast and responsive. The battery last longer than my previous phone. The display is flawless. The honestly have nothing bad to say about it!
I did some test just to compare this to the other unlocked phones in my house (LG Stylo 4, Moto G6, iPhone SE2). This TCL beat them all in my basic test of browsing, opening apps like, connecting to calls. I even used a benchmark app which showed my TCL as being better than the rest. I do hope this review helps other with their decision. This phone is fantastic!

Great phone to have on the budget. It has NFC and it works with Verizon! Just get your SIM card provisioned to work. I didn’t receive texts at first but called in to tech support at VZ and they provisioned my SIM card to be open to the carriers network. I was able to then receive texts. That was the only issue.
The phone has a great smart key as well. Hopefully updates don’t change that. That was a cool idea for TCL to do. They will support their phone with updates as well. You will not feel like your behind the times with this phone. Screen is beautiful and yes the enhanced view is nice. Love watching Netflix and YouTube with it. The sound is loud too with the 1 speaker.

No need for a thousand dollar phone, which now lack things like headphone jacks and microSD expansion. I bought this phone on behalf of someone who didn't have a phone at all and settled on this because it was under 300 bucks, has a decent processor (SD665, not the fastest, but is fine for most everybody anyway), 6GB of RAM was a nice bonus, 64GB of internal storage should give you plenty of space for apps with room for the pictures you can take with their QUAD rear camera setup (which we tested some, including a low light pic that came out pretty good), and if needed, pop in a microSD card for additional storage.
It has NFC (which is usually missing from budget phones), display looks good, great battery life (4,000mAh), speaker sounds good, near stock Android experience, and I have heard it'll get at least one major OS update (so it should get Android 11 at some point, probably , plus security updates for 2yrs), it came with a screen protector pre-installed and a simple clear case to give it some protection and make it easier to hold. Did I mention the headphone jack?
The bit of time I was on it helping him set it up and customize it, I was impressed enough I think I might buy me one for myself.
A:No, it does not work with Sprint, it does not come with a SIM card. It is an unlocked device that you can use your existing SIM card, buy a prepaid SIM card, or sign up with a service plan. It is compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon 4G LTE, or some MVNO (Mobile Vendor Network Operator) of these major carriers.
A:Yes. This phone will work with Total Wireless network, because it is compatible with Verizon LTE, just like the phone. You can verify your IMEI at Total Wireless website here: https://www.totalwireless.com/activation/byop/collectesn?carrier=VZW. Be sure that the SIM card from Total Wireless is meant for a Verizon compatible phone.
