A: No, but the top and bottom edges are raised a little bit so that the screen wont touch if you lay it face down on a table.

Q: Does this cover the screen and if so does it scratch easily the last case I had was a punk case and it wasn't supposed to scratch that blasted a week then i couldn't see the screen then it was supposed to be shock proof and my phone fell a foot and broke

Perfect Case for the Note 9
I didn't think it would be this easy to find the perfect case for this phone but it was. It has a great feel with just a slight amount of grip, not too much not too little. It protects the phone well and leaves enough room to still see the phone and use all of its features.

Nice Fit, good color
This cover fits nicely and provides protection on all edges. It is not slippery, and the color matches nicely with the black color on the phone.

Good protection
I've had Tech-21 cases on my last two phones, so it was a no-brainer to put one on my new Note9. The protection is excellent, the feel is not too slippery, and the design is very slim. Appearance of this one is the best yet because the smokey black let's you see the beautiful blue color of the phone.
