For a film that performed only modestly well at the box office, this disc was given a much better treatment than one might expect. The special features contain the original theatrical trailer, three deleted scenes, an audio commentary track with screenwriter Ben Ramsey and, best of all, a second full-length commentary track featuring director Kirk Wong and producer Terence Chang. This second track is a sort of question-and-answer session between Wong and Chang, interesting because Chang is a seasoned professional, having produced almost all of John Woo's films over the years, whereas Wong comes across as younger and less experienced, this being his first Hollywood picture. All of these are brought together with smoothly animated menus, and taken as a whole they make for a very compelling extras package and add a great deal to the enjoyment of the film. The producers of the disc didn't stop with the special features, however; they have done an excellent job preserving the integrity of the original image in an anamorphic, 16 x 9-enhanced transfer. As is often the case, one side of the disc contains the widescreen version of the film, whereas the other side contains the full-screen version. There are three audio tracks: French and English two-channel Surround and an English 5.1 track. The film has an urban, hip-hop edge to it, which is reflected in the soundtrack, so expect the subwoofer to get a thorough workout with the heavy bass rhythms throughout; at times it can be a little overpowering and should perhaps have been mixed slightly lower, as not all home theater systems will be equipped to handle it. Aside from that, however, the mix is strong and fairly evenly balanced. For those who didn't catch this film in the theaters, this disc will make an excellent introduction.

"Straight jackin' saves you that mad cream!" Lol
This is one of my favorite all - time action comedies. The plot isn't special and it's kinda campy but this movie isn't meant to be taken seriously. It's just a fun movie from beginning to end. Lots of funny bits and quotes. Lou Diamond Phillips over - acting the bad guy role is thoroughly entertaining! Bokeem Woodbine as a grown man who just discovered masturbation adds lots of hilarity. And Avery Brooks as the crime boss is just badass! This is such an underrated film!
