Crass and Funny
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I want to start out by saying this film is fantastic..! It starts out REALLY slow & I almost made the mistake by turning it off but I stuck with it & boy am I glad.. Melissa Rauch who I'd never heard of before watching this film is hilarious.. She plays a mean foul mouthed former Olympian bronze medalist who is still living off that fame 12 yrs later & plays the part like a BOSS..!

Filthy, Funny and fullfilling
||Posted .I almost didn't recognize Melissa Rauch from Big Bang Theory, who plays Hope, until she started to speak. There's no mistaking that voice! The movie is about Hope, an Olympic bronze medal winner in gymnastics, who had an injury during the competition that kept her from competing again, so she plays her third place victory it for all it's worth in her small Ohio town, getting free food and other stuff, but she is a rotten, spoiled, foul-mouthed selfish b***h who has no job and lives off her dwindling trust with her father, who she treats as badly as other people. Her father cuts off her $500 a week allowance because the trust is almost gone. When her ex instructor passes away, leaving a new Olympic hopeful stranded and despondent, She takes over her training after receiving a letter from her ex instructor saying she will get half a million dollars if she completes Maggie, the Olympic aspirants training. Reluctantly, she takes over, but after a while, she starts to enjoy it. If you can stand a lot of swearing (a LOT) then you may enjoy this movie!

Funny and raunchy R rated comedy.
||Posted .I can't believe this is the same Melissa Rauch from The Big Bang Theory, she's amazing in this comedy. She talks down and dirty throughout the movie and she's hilarious. The supporting cast is also good, you'll recognize most of them, especially Sebastian Stan from Captain America. This is a funny, raunchy take on the gymnastic scene.

A must if you're a Melissa Rauch fan
||Posted .I'm not a big fan of gymnastics but this movie definitely puts a funny spin on the sport. Melissa Rauch definitely steps away from her Big Bang Theory character in this one! Its a good comedy, glad I bought it.

Hilarious Raunch Fest
||Posted .The Bronze is an incredibly hilarious movie. A former Olympic hero who can't seem to let go of her past accomplishments/entitlements...gets a rude awakening. Great cast, laughs throughout, and raunchy. Worth a watch or three.

The Critics are boring and wrong!
||Posted .This is a funny movie. Sure, it's crass and mean-spirited and the story isn't that great, but I laughed plenty. If this would have come out 15 years ago, it would be hailed as a classic (like Bad Santa). We've changed as a society I guess - I'm not saying that's a bad thing - but one of the causalities (evidently) was comedies like this one.

Melissa Rauch was a hit!
||Posted .Never saw her before this movie, but after seeing what she had to offer in this film, I can just imagine how funny she is in the ever so popular Big Bang series..

not what I expected
||Posted .it looked funny from the preview so I got it. spent most of the movie angry because of what a horrible person she was (albeit hilarious at the same time), but by the end it comes full circle. hard to reconcile her in this role with Bernadette in Big Bang Theory, but she is absolutely hysterical. if you like dry, sarcastic humor then this is your movie.
