Based on a real story. The Command recounts the 2000 K-141 Kursk submarine disaster. The film tells the story of the Russian nuclear submarine as it's sinking to the bottom of the Barents Sea and the sailors fighting to survive it. Officer Mikhail Kalekow (Matthias Schoenaerts) is part of the crew that is still alive and waiting for rescue. However, the rescue mission seems hindered by politics and bureaucracy among Russia, France, Norway and Britain, with the latter's navy chief (Colin Firth) trying to convince Russia to receive foreign aid.~Paola Diego
Wow, a very exciting movie to watch. The movie was filmed very well. The theme was realistic and quite sad. Acting by all was amazing. I purchased this great movie to add it to my collection. I recommend this film to folks that enjoy military drama with suspense. Enjoy!
