Tom Hanks in one of his best roles
||Posted .These are some of Tom Hanks best roles. May even rank with Private Ryan. It also helps to have Tom Browns stories as the bases of the movies. Tom Hanks plays a symbologist, which is strange profession, but has landed him in Harvard as a professor. He is recommended to help interpret some symbols that are left on or burned into priests that are murdered because they are eligible to become the next cardinal. The stories move very fast and smooth as does Tom Brown's books. The stories have been written to keep the reader from putting the books down, and this goes with the movies that are hard to pull away from. The supporting casts are very strong, and are believable. Both movies were directed by Ron Howard at his best.

Both flicks are engrossing - great entertainment!
||Posted .ANGLES & DEMONS Is action packed film, with a new twist around every corner, is guaranteed to hold your attention and at the same time astonish you. Its’ triple-twist-ending will pleasantly surprise you and the adulation of the ending is emotionally satisfying. THE DA VINCI CODE’s Director practices with personification the art-form of combining story, action, a skilled-cast of actors, a perfectly tuned sound-track to each scene and fascinating sound-effects to tell a story in a grand, captivating and exciting manner. This movie is perhaps the finest suspense-thriller movie of all time!

Tom Hanks double feature
||Posted .The movies were not exactly what I expected. From the all of the commotion of people claiming it was movie supporting cult-ish tendencies; after having watched both films now I can say that is not what is in the films at all. They explore some cult-ish ideas confronting mainstream religions, but that is about it. They are great mystery stories. Aside from that, the features offered on the Blu-Ray were great. (Commentaries, Making of, lots of special features included) As with any Blu-Ray disc, the quality of the visual content is crisp, clear and full.

interesting movie and its sequel
||Posted .Beautifully filmed and looked gorgeous on my 4K upscale Blu-ray player and a 65 inch 4K TV. I have never read the book(s), but I've had heard about the movies when they came out. It was on sale at an incredible price so I had to get it. I watched the first one with a couple of friends, and we enjoyed it. Never heard Audrey Tautou speaking English before and thought she was charming. You have to pay attention and thus I'm happy to be able to watch this at home and was able to pause the movie when we needed to take a quick break.

Both movies for a great price
||Posted .In anticipation of the next adventure of Professor Langdon, I picked up this up to catch up on Davinci/A&D and was not disappointed. And for a great price of $9.99 it couldn't be beat. Davinci code was a great mystery but Angels & Demons had more action this was very true of the novels which spawned an entire genre called Historical fiction. Pick this up when you have a chance for the great price and it has tons of extras to explore more of the story behind the mystery.

A steal for $10
||Posted .Tom Hanks brings Dan Brown's Robert Langdon to life with his usual masterful performance. Yes, the movies do deviate from the books in some of the details, but this almost always the case, and the spirit of the books are there in both movies. What remains are thrill rides that will have you on the edge of your seats and leave you wanting more.
