Overall, The Empire of Corpses feels like the essence of a fine time at the movies. It's a buoyant adventure story full of twists and turns, taking a fundamentally strong worldbuilding premise and draping it over a well-worn genre shell. The ultimate lightness of its philosophical and character-based aspirations can make its two hour runtime a little wearying, but I certainly didn't regret my time with the film. If you're looking for a fun action-adventure story with a unique take on the undead, give it a try.

Customer service was very good as usual, at the Best Buy in Cincinnati Ohio's western hills location. I have several large purchases to make in the coming months, and Best Buy in western hills is the only place I'd make them. I could very well purchase them them at a lower cost on line but the blue shirts at this particular Best Buy make all the difference. I thank you, and applaud your virtuosity.

Interesting anime with a mix of the fantastical and historical. A much better version of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. An interesting look at mankinds' overwhelming drive to control nature and everything in it. Another introspection on the meaning of life - and the slavery of intelligence and free will.

i dont know where to start with this i want enjoy this movie for the premise but its overly drawn out with a plot twist that doesnt really add to the depth of point that its trying to make. it loses direction and focus. i enjoyed it but it falls short of being a classic

Empire of Corpses on Blu-ray is worth having in your collection. The level of animation and detail put into the film is astounding. If you like Phillip K. Dick, anime, or simply need something to watch that rustles the brain wrinkles, check out Empire of Corpses.

Listen if you're looking for a cutesy anime, or some pervo schoolgirl jiggle fest, then this isn't your cake. If you're looking for a good story set in an interesting world. If you're a fan of gothic horror, or exploding zombies than this will be your crumpet mate.

Empire of Corpses is an interesting story that takes place in an alternate 19th century England. The animation is incredible and characters are interesting. The ending is so-so, could have been done a little better, but overall a great movie.

I'm a huge anime fan. I liked this movie a lot. The animation is beautiful and the story is good. There are a few things I'm not clear on so I'll have to watch it again. It's a good addition to any collection.
