Good look, crisp sound
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The main thing with buying 4K is just being sure there aren't glitches, and the visuals and sound are good. I remember when some of the first remastered Blu-Rays came out, you had weird sound transfers, or glitchy batches. The 4Ks I've bought so far have been free of these kinds of issues. The Matrix Reloaded looks and sounds good. I remember that in the theater, I though some of the Neo/Smith fight scenes with the dozens of Smith copies looked a bit video-game-like since that level of CGI technology was new. The 4K seems to have smoothed that out a bit. Just remember that in 2003 it was new ground. Overall a good disc that worth having.

The second film in THE MATRIX Trilogy.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Freedom fighters Neo (Keanu Reeves), Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) and Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) continue to lead the revolt against the Machine Army, unleashing their arsenal of extraordinary skills and weaponry against the systematic forces of repression and exploitation. In their quest to save the human race from extinction, they gain greater insight into the construct of The Matrix and Neo's pivotal role in the fate of mankind.

Classic Keanu & 4K is Worth the Video & Audio
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Matrix series is always worth a return visit. The transfer over to 4K is pretty good with minute increase in details. Due to the color nature of the film, you won't notice any extreme enhancements from HDR. The Dolby Atmos added to the film is a well added bonus from bluray copies. The middle fight scene with all the Mr. Smith's is still cheesy on the graphics just like it was in the theater.

As Good As I Expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the Matrix movies. With a 125" screen and 2:35 ratio availability, I was super excited when these were released as you can really see the improvement when moving up to 4k. The larger the screen, the more you can see resolution changes. While the HDR makes these a bit dark, you can turn off all lights, and enjoy a true movie experience at home.

Looking for reference quality demo material?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review....Then this is it! The picture quality is stellar, and the Dolby Atmos surround track sounds stellar. Aside from Aquaman (which looks visually stellar, but The Matrix: Reloaded, in my opinion, is a much deeper, more enjoyable movie), this is a great reference demo disc to showcase your 4K/surround setup!

Great 4K presentation
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Warner Bros. is doing 4K right, and the Matrix films look and sound great in this format. You may have to manually set the audio track to Dolby Atmos, which will play in TrueHD on receivers like mine without Atmos, and may have to adjust your TV's picture settings to Cinema for optimal video quality, but upgrading to 4K is well worth it. It would be great if there were new bonus features, but at least all existing features carry over from the Blu-Ray edition.
