A: I don’t think you would be able to track it, However, you can put out a “Find my Tile” alert and any other Tile user within the range of your Tile can pick up its location and notify you.
Q: Hi there - Can 1 tile be used for phone & keys or do I need a tile for each item?
A: One per item since you attach it physically to the item. However the Tile can ring your phone if it is running the app, so maybe you wouldn't need a separate Tile for the phone.
A: I'm on my second set of Tiles. The first ones lasted about 11 months. They are suppose to last 1 year on average. If you reach out to Tile they should be able to help you. If not, you will most defiantly get a decent discount on the next ones.
A: Yes but once the child is out of the 2nd gen wider, range it is not the greatest. You need something that can give you gps tracking additionally to Bluetooth. I was doing some research on trackers myself. The one made for children are extremely bulky and cumbersome. YouTube “Best child trackers for 2018”. I have a 5 week old so I have time before I need to get one. Hopefully by then the current models or even tile become smaller and more efficient.
A: Sure can, I got one in all of our cars and can real time track them from my iPhone!
A: Each one can be activated by a different phone. I shared with my daughter in college. Yes you can give them to others to activate!
A: You can turn the bluetooth on when you want to find the tile. My wife turns off her bluetooth quite often, but she has to turn it on when she finds the tile. It does require your location services to be on. If you have to turn off your phone, it should still work once you turn it back on.
A: Right now I have an iPhone 5 and I just checked the usage for Tile app and it says 1%, same as Shazam, less than my library app. Hope this helps.
