Great game for JRPG fans - specifically Persona lo
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendFor years I've been thinking about buying a Wii U just for this game! Instead of getting a used one from eBay or GS, I just waited and occupied myself with my infinite backlog (LOL) and finally heard that this was being released for Switch! If you love the Persona battle style (weakness attacks), you'll love combat here and their "sessions" add even more flair. The overall presentation of the game is great and I love the "feel" of the game which really reminds me of Tokyo and Shibuya which I won't be able to visit again for awhile =( Great game for JRPG fans - specifically Persona lovers.

A fun RPG
|Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendTMS#FE was a phenomenal Wii U game, and Encore brings it to a larger audience on Switch. The battle mechanics are very mush Shin Megami Tensei rather than Fire Emblem. Turn based gameplay is supplemented by the FR weapon triangle, and a new mechanic called "sessions" allow the player to seamlessly chain attacks and wipe enimies, it can be extremely satisfying. Outside of battle, the protagonist can hang out with his teammates and friends to experience their side stories and unlock new battle tactics. I'd compare the gameplay and story most closely to Persona. You play as a high school students turned demon hunters who masquerade their hunting career with an idol agency. If you liked Persona 5 or want it on Switch, I can confidently say that this game is probably the closest to it you can play on the platform. Unfortunately there is no dub, but I definitely recommend it regardless.

Cool Fire Emblem Spin-off
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendIf you like JRPGs and anime in general, you’ll definitely like this. The combat system is unique as music is a part of it. It’s basically about Japanese idol culture where you the protagonist are a singer for an idol group. Weird supernatural things happen and now you and your idol friends have to fight the forces of evil. All with powers given through music. It’s a typical turn based JRPG that works fairly well.

Rpg with alot going for it
|Posted .Owned for 9 months when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendIf your looming for a great turn base Japanese game on the go for your new switch. This game is it. It got tons of compelling stories and task that will keep you busy for hours. The turn base system is similar to persona 5 and final fantasy 10. The game also has fire emblem charecters. So if your into all that it the game to get.

A great game finally free from the Wii U.
|Posted .Owned for 9 months when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendThis is an excellent port of the Wii U original that many people did not get a chance to play. There are a few minor changes, but nothing that detracts from the game play. For fans of Atlas games, this is another quality product that finally gets a chance to shine.

Idol Time
|Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendI will never not recommend this game to anyone. It's by far my favorite Wii U game and I'm overjoyed that it got rereleased on the Switch giving it a second chance to those who didn't own Nintendo's previous console. Gameplay is fun and the story is wacky, what else do you need in a modern classic JRPG?

Persona-lite
|Posted .Owned for 7 months when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendIf you're a fan of the Persona series, or are interested in giving it a shot, then this is a good gateway game. Was so happy they decided to release this since I missed my chance on Wii U

FINALLY!!!
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendI remember when I first saw this for the unfortunately ill-fated Wii U, I was in love. Sadly, I stopped the ball on getting it back then. Once the Switch was released and I saw how many amazing Wii U titles were being ported, is wished and hoped for this one to be as well. Must have!!!
