Great TV
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV and the quality is superb. The ability to have the all in one remote control for Hulu, Disney+, Prime Video and Netflix makes this product that much better. Battery life is long and picture quality very good. Volume does not have to be high to hear the tv. Has the features that includes subtitles and it is a Smart TV. Love it!

Great value for money. An in-depth review:
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV even at $400+, though the price has dropped significantly in the past. Some people have described interlacing issues when using cable boxes through HDMI, so definitely do more research if you'll be using one. I only use it for streaming and gaming and it works great for that. Here are some thoughts as a first time 4K and Smart TV owner after using it for a week. Display: Colors are vibrant and the picture is sharp. 1080p content gets automatically upscaled and looks way better than on my 27" 1080p monitor. I definitely see 2160p mode running (e.g. on Youtube), not sure why some people say they are seeing only 2160i. Compared to the high end 4K TVs however, there are some compromises like significant gradient color banding and poor grey uniformity (patchy effect when a large portion of the screen has a single color). The banding issue is most noticeable on splash screens, dark areas of videos and when projecting a PC screen. For the price, I think these issues are acceptable. Remote: I've never really liked Smart Assistants because I just prefer using my phone/laptop to manually do everything. But Alexa on the TV remote is a great addition and it makes searching for things or opening apps much quicker than using the arrow keys. I like that it only activates the microphone when you press the button on the remote. Very impressed by the remote to be honest. Smart Features: Pretty much all the apps you expect from a modern smart TV. I like that the OS is not locked down like Roku and some other platforms, so you can sideload and run pretty much any Android app. One down side of being an integrated smart TV is that as the OS and applications get more CPU intensive with updates, performance will likely start to go down over the years. There's no way to swap out the hardware like you can with a discrete Fire stick, so I expect that the built-in smart UI will be unusable in 3-4 years. I wish they had chosen a faster processor to be honest - there are some stutters when browsing the menu because it can't keep up with loading images and other content. But eventually you can always attach an external smart device and have it switch to that automatically on startup. Gaming: I tried my Nintendo Switch and had a good experience. I had to change the picture setting to Game mode to get the lowest possible latency, it was pretty much unplayable on the default mode. I'm glad I chose this TV over the Insignia because the Game mode on this one is much better. Sound: Built-in speakers get loud and are bass-heavy. The TV supports Bluetooth headphones which is great because my room has terrible acoustics. There is of course some audio delay when using Bluetooth audio. Some apps like Youtube are able to compensate automatically. The system settings popup also has an option to advance the audio by up to 200 milliseconds to help compensate for the Buetooth delay. However I still suffered from some audio delay when using most apps or when gaming using my Bluetooth headphones. Perhaps more expensive headphones could fix that - mine are $20 no-name ones. Overall, my impressions are very positive. I'm looking forward to enjoying this TV and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a TV in the <=$400 range.

We love it, you should get this!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As an avid review hunter, lemme tell you, get this thing if you can. We really love this! It took a lot of time to find a TV that had good reviews, was the right size, and wasn't astronomically priced (granted, we got this one on sale for $419 instead of $479). Either way, if I'd known how great it is, I think we would have flexed the extra $60. It was really straight forward to set up, it has all the apps that I want available to download (was happy to see tubi there!) and the picture quality is excellent. You can put your amazon account on it if you have one! I actually like the home screen default, like it doesn't default to the cable. It displays all of your apps and inputs. And! I can't think of anything else useful to share about why it's nice! It's just great! So basically, we love it! I will say, really check the styrofoam in the box for your remote because we really could not find it for 30 min and nothing in the set-up manual said it was in the styrofoam lol it was in a little crevice, so make sure you check the box thoroughly!

NIce 55 Inch Class
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Toshiba is really a 5 Star for this price. The 1 complaint is simple; Roku was the first & all these others come along and try to match the ease and quality of Roku. The speakers are good, the picture is great. We do not game on our TV's. Below are 2 pictures of the Toshiba ~ 1 with Smart Fire and 1 with Roku 4K+ with Alexa. This set included a free Alexa Dot so the Roku 4K+ with Alexa is the PERFECT match. All 3 of our 55 inch class TV's are wall mounted with PERLESMITH Articulating/Full motion/Swivel/Tilt/Wide rotation/19.6" Extension devices which are, by far, the best on the market. Also the Toshiba remote is small and made of non textured surface which is extremely difficult to hold on to. All 3 Roku remotes (3 TV's) have a non smooth surface. Again this is a 5 Star TV - we found it very easy to add Roku to the Smart Fire OS the same as we did on our Samsung Tizen OS, our TCL already had Roku. We have had Roku for years on our non smart TV's - for us it's still the best having all the features on 1 menu. Our pay channels Prime, Sling Blue, disney+, discovery+, along with all the free stuff Roku gives... LOVE new Tech ! ! BTW complete set up including wall mount & Roku is less than 30 minutes. (and I'm retired)!

Q: QuestionIs this HDR compatible? I know it has Dolby Vision, but am not sure if that means HDR compatible. I am trying to figure out the difference between this and the TF-55A810U21 .
Asked by WorkingFromHome.
- A:Answer There are 2 differences I have been able to see. I have also been searching these 2 TVs. They seem to be identical with very minor differences. The feet placement and style are different, and the LF 621 has 20 watts speaker vs 10 watts speaker for the A810. Supposedly the LF621 is the newer model...

Q: QuestionIs this compatible with HBO Max?
Asked by KriataG.
- A:Answer Currently the Firestick does not have HBO Max as an App you can download. However, the is a workaround you can find if you Google it. You can download the HBO Max yourself and install it. I did that about 3 months ago and watch HBO Max regularly.
