Solid network switch
||Posted .Owned for 3 months when reviewed.Exactly as advertised. It has plenty of ports, it's made of metal, dead easy to set up (just plug in your network cable from your router and network cables from your other devices) and it's a great value at the price for extending the number of ethernet ports in your house.

Awesome switch!
||Posted .Owned for 6 months when reviewed.Great for what I'm using it for. We have an upstairs office and the main router is downstairs. So we are running our ethernet to our computers/other devices through a single ethernet cable ran from our WiFi extender. We both get speeds around 500 Mbps using CAT6. Can't complain. Great deal!

Q: QuestionI've had a TP-Link TL-SG1008D (unmanaged switch) for almost 7 years connected to my TP Link Archer C7. I am looking to add another 8 port gigabit switch. Is there a performance hit due to the overhead of the "smart" features on this one?
Asked by BBHH.
- A:Answer I have been happy with it, but haven't really put a a big speed test on it. I have 2 IP phones and YouTubeTV for streaming. I have had no issues with it. I the Eero (third gen) for my router and one is hard wired into the switch so it acts as a second access point for my network.
