Features
Wi-Fi 6 technology has redefined home WiFi. Experience faster speeds, higher capacity, and reduced congestion overall compared to the previous AC Wi-Fi 5 standard. The Archer AX20 dual-band router reaches speeds of up to 1.8 Gbps, for a buffer-free 4K/HD streaming and gaming experience. With more and more devices in your home, your current router will likely begin to slow down. Archer AX20 uses Beamforming technology and 4 antennas to adapt and focus WiFi signals to your devices far away for stronger, more reliable coverage. Using Target Wake Time (TWT), your router talks to your devices and negotiates when and how frequently they should transfer data to increase device sleep time, extending battery life. The Archer AX20 works with all previous WiFi standards and all WiFi-enabled devices. Setup in minutes with Tether app.

A: The Archer AX20 router can reach speeds up to 1.8 Gbps.Q: Will this router work well with spectrum streaming l (3 answers)
A: I personally could not get this router to connect to Spectrum and get internet access, returned it.- A: No, this is not a DSL modem and does not have a DSL port (RJ11 phone jack). However, it can be used in conjunction with an existing modem to provide your home with WiFi 6 connectivity.
- A: Hi! 1) Yes. 2) No; however you can conveniently apply firmware updates via the web GUI or the Tether app. 3) This will vary depending on whether or not an update is warranted (e.g. to address performance, bugs, or security as the need arises). 4) WPA3 Personal is the recommended encryption type for home networks.
- A: Technically yes; however, WiFi 6 is backwards compatible with previous WiFi protocols so you should not encounter any difficulty if the router utilizes this feature. In some rare cases - e.g. some laptops that utilize specific Intel WiFi chipsets having difficulty connecting to WiFi 6 networks - a simple driver update on the wireless device (e.g. laptop) should address the concern.
