A: It must still be connected to a power source to operate. You can use wifi to mirror your phone but it lags and freezes. Use a fire tv stick or some other streaming HDMI device for best results.
Q: Can any stream service like HBO Max, Disney+ Or prime video play on this projector?
A: We have connected our Roku to the device using HDMI and then USB for power and we can stream any app available
Q: What distance does the project need to be from the screen?
A: I placed mine with 15 feet far from screen and has very good focus and clear image and almost giving me 150 inch viewing space. Closer the screen smaller the viewing size. Hope this helps.
Q: How many lumens does it project?
A: It is 290 ANSI lumens. This is not a good projector to use in daylight. The picture is great for the money but has to be used in a dark room or at night. We bought this to see if we would be interested in even having this type of way to watch movies. We love the concept of a projector. Now that we have decided we would actually use one we are going to buy one with way more lumens. This is not a horrible projector but you have to use it in the dark.
Q: Can it be connected to my cable box and used for everyday cable tv?
A: Yes, just need to connect using HDMI and then select the correct input using the remote.
Q: Does the bonus screen come with a tripod
A: No tripod included.
Q: How well does this work outdoors? Is it okay for a Nintendo Switch?
A: The darker the surrounding the better the picture. It will play anything through the HDMI
