Q: QuestionIs the sound bar wireless or just the subwoofer?(4 answers)
A: AnswerIt depends on what you want to do, the sound bar can be used wirelessly if you go with a Bluetooth source, that works fine for music, but may introduce lag if the sound is coming from your tv. Plus, using bluetooth you don't get the surround/atmos sound. So usually from a tv you have to be wired to get the better quality experience. Then the subwoofer is wirelessly connecting to the soundbar and the 2 satellite speakers that go in the back are plugged to the subwoofer, meaning there is no cable at all between the front (the sound bar) and the back (subwoofer + satellite speakers)Answered by Anonymous
- A: AnswerSo the sub location is kind of a mixed bag in my opinion. If your on a couch in a living room and you're able to place the sub behind the main listening position, I think you will be happy! However.... in my experience, I bought this system for my bedroom and therefore had to place the sub against the back wall next to my bed in order to have the rear satellite speakers placed at the rear of my room. The sub for movies did a good job of dissapearing into the soundtrack with only minimal localization. But.... for news or watching a football game, the system uses the sub to help fill in the deeper bass of voices and boy oh boy was I able to localize the bass from the sub coming from left rear while watching the TV in front of me. It drove me nuts! I'm probably more sensitive to that then others may be however so take my opinion for just that, an opinion. My answer was to relocate the sub to the front wall next to the dresser where my TV is placed and wow... a drastic improvement! Now bass is localized to the front soundstage rather then feeling disconnected from the soundbar. No more hearing bass coming from my left rear and all other sound anchored to the TV. The negative to this approach however is I now had to rotate the rear surround satellites to the front right next to the soundbar. Luckily, the vizio is great at giving a wide Soundstage and I was still impressed at the soundbara ability to provide a pseudo surround effect even with the surround speakers placed up front.

A: AnswerI have my Series X plugged in to the hdmi in with a 2.1 cable and then another 2.1 cable going to the earc port on my TV (a Hisense 65U8G) from the hdmi out port on the soundbar and I'm getting 4k 120hz with VRR.Answered by TimB

Great sound quality and worth every penny.
Very good and quality soundbar with 5.1.2 Dolby atmos surround sound under $400 price. Sound quality is premium in small spaces like bedroom or small media rooms. I have connected it to my projector with HDMI eARC and can experience atmos experience in very good standards. I would recommend it for small to medium spaces for sound lovers.

The best product you can buy
buy this product for all the benefits you get for less than $ 500 including the dolby atnos and this speaker comes with a total of 11 high performance speakers. the sound is very good I use it to play with the xbox series x and I love it. at very low volume the subwoofer feels good. you can configure everything from the control panel. from the brightness of the sound to the power of the subwoofer. I recommend it

Price, Performance, and absolute Value
I originally purchased the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) for $400 as I was excited to try it after reading such raving reviews about how awesome it sounded. Long story short it was a beautiful soundbar with underwhelming sound…and it requires internet connection and is always on which I don’t like. I quickly returned it. In to the Vizio..I wasn’t super excited as I had no experience with Vizio and considered it a budget brand which normally isn’t great but not bad. Boy was I wrong about this. You’re getting superior quality sound, the build quality is great, the setup is easy, the customization settings are a huge plus whether I’m watching YouTube,Blu Ray movies on my PS5 or TV shows I can customize it to my needs. The sound is GREAT and increasing the dialogue in Media was my biggest want as it’s always so quiet while action sequences are explosive and I hated that problem at night. This Soundbar remedies that, and then some. The Bass is booming and can be adjusted it sounds so good. The little side speakers that you can place behind you or next to the main soundbar sound great and add depth. Sound has overall height (that can be adjusted too) depth, clarity, and quality. I would have been much happier spending $400 for this over the Sonos Beam. Luckily it’s not just better, but it’s far cheaper which puts a big smile on my face as I’m not just saving money, but buying a superior sound system for my living room. I knew I was keeping this one immediately and the raving reviews are on point with this sound bar. I even tried it at BestBuy in person in their soundbar demo section and liked the sound over any of the other units they had on display. Absolutely recommend. I’m no sound engineer but I can’t imagine spending hundreds more will get you that much better sound. This exceeded my expectations and I am thrilled to use it daily. Highly recommend.
