- A: Answerexpansion cards are for for games, apps, and save data only. I believe external hard drive would work. better to get a normal one like for a computer specifically for media. make sure it can be compatible with xbox. this just basically makes ur core hard drive that came with the xbox when u got it, bigger

Q: QuestionIs this for the newest Xbox out(4 answers)
A: AnswerYes it is For the Xbox series X/SAnswered by DylanH
- A: Answerbasically. think of an external drive as a storage locker. when u want things u go get them ad bring them home. this adds space to ur home. u can store games, save data etc on it. and play games in it without having to download them to ur Core Storage like u have to do with external drive

- A: Answerthis is for series s/x only. they might make them for xbox one but u could need to make sure the tech specs say that. otherwise an external hard drive is ur best bet. and u would need to make sure any saved data is stored or transferred back to the console before being able to use. Im pretty sure they make these for last gen consoles (xbox one)

Good memories, bad delivery.
I bought this expansion card on a sale that Best Buy had. Saved $30. Price is high for the item, IMO. However, the price is the same pretty much any place you can buy it. As there is only two choices in brand, you're pretty limited. I've had good luck with WD products, so I went with this one. It's an internal expansion for xbox series x/s, 1 TB. Easy to install...make sure the xbox is off, open the package, remove card from package, insert into the back of the xbox, turn on xbox. Simple. The xbox reads it, and BAM! More storage. The reason for four stars is the delivery. Ordered it on a Tuesday. Site showed it was to be delivered on Thursday. FedEx showed it was out for delivery on Thursday, by 10pm. Package never came. Friday, around 3pm, I get an update showing delayed, and it would be there by 10pm. Package didn't show again. Saturday, no update, and no package. Tried contacting Best Buy on chat. Got disconnected when I gave them the order number. Never heard back, didn't have time to sit and wait for the chat again. Sunday, get an update showing delayed until Monday. Finally, the item was delivered on Monday. It was raining. The delivery person left package in the rain, even though we have signs up showing to put them in the covered shelf, two feet from where the package was left. While I understand FedEx was ultimately responsible for the bad experience Best Buy does business with them, and they should hold their partners accountable. Overall, I definitely recommend getting an internal storage, and I definitely would recommend the WD ones.
