||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed.Easy Install and Easy to set up. My hdd has had a lot of stress on it so I order this ssd I put it is and transfer some of my big files on it and it ran with ease. My compute has ran much faster and crashs almost never happen.

PS5 upgrade
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Picked this up to upgrade my PS5, and I'm am very happy with my purchase. You do have to get a 3rd party heatsink, but you can find a quality one on amazon for 12-20 bucks. I got it through the black Friday sale so between that and the heatsink I came out spending 80 bucks less than the same version of this ssd with the integrated heatsink. Since the PS5 requires a gen 4 ssd options are a little limited, but this should be one of your tip choices.

Great SSD for PS5
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Decided to get this over the Samsung 980 pro due to reports that you needed to update Samsung in a PC to unlock higher speeds. Paired the WD Black SN850 1TB with a basic low profile heatsink to fit in the PS5. Works perfectly and has a read speed over 6500. Plays PS5 games perfectly and transfer games so quickly. Very happy with my decision.

Excellent drive if you need the speed.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Wickedly fast. If you have a system that fully supports PCIe 4.0 and run applications that require fast read/write, you can't find a better option. It can get hot as many other reviewers noted, but so far with a motherboard-supplied heatsink I haven't had any throttling issue. My processing times are more than halved after switching.

- A:Answer It should be compatible so long as you have another nvme slot available in your laptop. As the 12th gen supports PCIE gen 4 and should have enough PCIE lanes to run 2 ssd and a gpu on it from the cpu.

Q: QuestionDoes this PCIe GEN 4 stick work in any new laptop? i have the ROG Strix advantage 2021 (all AMD) and i am looking to upgrade the SSD and i am concerned that AMD isnt compatible with GEN4s. Will this work or do i need a GEN3? thank you

- A:Answer I’m not an expert by any means but I run AMD and have no issues. Just make sure your NVMe slot is 4th compatible otherwise you won’t notice the capable speeds of the drive.
