Q: Is it a good HD to store and use images for editing with softwares like Premiere Pro?

A: Yes. But you may find that managing your workflow locally allows these programs to run much faster. I import to a local HD or SSD and work from there. I use the NAS for automatic backups and for project storage. With the extra two USB ports you can really manage a great amount of storage as either backup space or working / archival space.

Q: Can you daisy chain additional hard drives to this one?

A: It has 2 usb3.0 slots for expansion. I added one more hard drive via the usb slot. It expanded the 16tb to 24Tb.

Q: Can you send pictures to this device from a ipad air pro

A: Yes, you can transfer the pictures from your iPad Air Pro to this external storage device.

Q: Can you simultaneously back up Mac & Windows PC's? do you have to partition the drive(s) to do this? I will want to set up where the backup is redundant on the drives, understanding this makes backup space 8TB. can smart TVs access to watch videos stored?

A: 1. I have both Mac and PC users connecting to the device, without the need to partition it separately. 2. I've not attempted to connect to the drive via a Smart TV but I would assume it would work fine if you can get it connected properly.

Q: what is the power input range? Can this take a 240V supply?

A: Yes. if you go for the 0tb or 16TB you get a more powerful adaptor but they take 110 or 240 V
