Nearly the same but added grill and toast features. I am beyond pleased. And i got a floor model 1/3 the price with no issues!

Awesome convection microwave oven

Love that it takes the place of our large toaster oven. Glass front touch screen was a rare find and so glad it has it. Pops the entire bag of popcorn, no kernels left. The airfry tray works great. Couldn't love it more and I loved my previous but this was a great replacement.

Great microwave acceptable convection oven

It heats up quickly and buttons are far easier than our last one. It runs quiet, but the finish chime is almost too quiet. Wish it had a volume adjustment. Installation wasn't too bad even for 1 person though my back would probably have said otherwise. About the only thing I'm not too fond of is most of the convection settings use the microwave part to speed up cooking times which limits your choices in bakeware. Hopefully it is dependable and the magneto doesn't go out in a couple of years like our last one.

Great Convection Microwave

I owned the previous (older) version of this Microwave and was very happy with that one as well. Buy buying the newer version I was able to reuse all the existing mounting positions and didn't have to drill any new holes in to the wall or cabinet, which made the installation go quickly.

I see a lot of people asking about heating element and yes it has two of them. One at the top and one around the fan on the side. Over all solid unit and a great buy.

Q: QuestionThe pictures of this microwave show it with the rack inside. Unfortunately it does not come with the oven. Best buy doesn't sell it and I can't even get it on Amazon. I even checked the Whirlpool website and couldn't find it. Where can you buy it?

- A:Answer This oven doesn't come with the rack, even though it has the brackets. I looked at reviews from the previous model (which didn't advertise air frying) and it came with a rack, but it was made clear that this rack was only to be used during microwave cooking because it would warp if used with the convection oven. My guess is that Whirlpool probably had too many complaints of the rack warping from people who didn't read the owner's manual, so they decided not to include it with the new model. The old one looks identical inside to this new one, so they probably didn't want to modify the inside. If it's not broke, don't fix it kind of thing. You could probably find the rack if you looked for it using the previous oven's model number, but if you order it and use it during convection cooking or air frying and it warps out of shape, don't be surprised.

- A:Answer Not much. A basket to use the air fryer and a little stand to use for the convention part. For as much as this microwave cost you would think that they would pack a full size metal rack with it. No, you have to buy that as a extra accessory.
