  • Features
    • Drying Method: Heated drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)

  • Normal Cycle: Use for normal amounts of food soil to clean up leftover messes from your day-to-day meals.
  • 1-Hour Wash Cycle: Cleans dishes in half the time compared to Normal cycle so your plates, pans and glasses are thoroughly cleaned up and taken care of in just an hour.
  • Heavy Cycle: Take care of heavily-soiled messes and other hard-to-clean dishes without the extra elbow grease by adding extra time to the cycle.

Q: Is there a button to stop the heat dry cycle. Want to air dry to save on energy.

A: Hello Janice! The Heated Dry is an optional cycle. Per page 9 of the Use and Care Guide, Use Heat Dry for optimum drying performance. For air dry, Heat Dry LEDs must be off. We hope this helps!

Q: From the pictures, I see a little rectangle above the handle, what is it?

A: That little rectangle above handle is where the heat comes out of.

Q: Whirlpool dishwasher Model No. WDT710PAH Z1. Operational since July 2019. It has stopped working just before getting to the wash cycle. Tried reset. What gives?

Q: Is the tub stainless steel or plastic

A: Hello Bj, the tub is Plastic on this model. Thank you for your inquiry on our Whirlpool appliances.

Q: The tall tub. Does that mean it is higher than the average counter top?

A: Hello Pleasedcustomer, the Tall Tub design gives more capacity to the Dishwasher tub by compressing the mechanical parts and assemblies at the bottom of the unit. You will know a Tall Tub design because the door will continue the length of the cabinet with out an extra panel at the bottom to cover the larger pump and motor. The dimensions will be the same to fit standard height countertops.
