Not Worth It
This electric range stove is not worth it one dime...
Pros: Its a Beautiful Stove, Designed is Gorgeous, It has 5 Electric Burners, and Stove is pretty Big Inside. And has Touch Screen but I dont see myself using it often.
CONS: Its not real Black Stainless Steel its Coated with black stainless steel and Feels really Cheap. It dosen't cook a Turkey RIGHT I had issues cooking my 24 Pound
THANKSGIVING Turkey cooked for 7 hours at 350 and Turkey was still raw, I had to finish cooking my Turkey at my moms house. This Ceramic Glass prompts to get scratches easily mine is already scratched they use cheap Glass material my older Whirlpool was 13 years old and didn't have, not even one scratch on the ceramic glass. Also this stove gets Dirty quickly and it's a fingerprint magnet. So honestly not worth the $1700 Price Tag. I wish I could return it.

This Whirlpool range does it all! Lots of smart program features. Makes cooking and baking so much more fun!
Matches all my appliances and I get many compliments on this kitchen suite!
I love this range! The oven space is huge, and the fit is perfect in our cabinet space. I find myself cleaning the top every day, though-it is shiny black glass, after all. Much better than the old range style with cool elements and dirty cups.
Stovetop control knobs: Pro - the protruding front lip of the stovetop protects the knobs from getting food splatters. Con: The protruding front lip of the range slightly blocks the view of the knob settings. Words/numbers on control knobs of stovetop are not bold enough to see without a brightly-lighted room and/or young eyes.
Stovetop glass: Pro – Beautiful. Con – Water streaks left by damp towel are very visible when both wet and dry. Need to wipe a second time with a super dry absorbent dust-free cloth like chamois. Marks left by cookware easy to make but difficult to remove.
Oven racks: Pro – Lighter weight than old ones, easier to manage. Con - Not as heavy duty as my old ones, not sure about long-term durability.
Convection feature: Pro - Love the fact that this range has convection capability because it no longer requires a heating element on the bottom which used to get in the way of cleaning.
AquaSteam Oven Cleaning: Pro - Works nicely, but need to use it almost everytime the oven is used because the baked-on dried splatters are difficult to clean, and the range instructions tell you not to use chemical cleaners and scrubbers as they may scratch/damage the finish, and the oven does not have the very hot self-cleaning function where it used to burn off the stuck-on splatters.
Electronic display: Pro – Attractive, easy to read/use. Con – very sensitive. Accidentally touching it if you’re wiping up a spill during oven use can change the settings you put in including the timer, and the settings do not seem to be retrieveable once they’re changed. The control lock does not engage when the oven is on so you can’t lock the settings down. For example, if you’re roasting a turkey and have the timer set and then the settings/timer gets changed/deleted because you accidentally touched the display while you were cooking something else on the stovetop, you won’t know how much bake time is left on your turkey unless you remember what time you started the timer.
I love every thing except the control panel being so exposed. It is glass and can be broken. I dropped a lid off a bowl from above range. Micro and shattered the control panel glass.
$600 later I am cooking again.
A:AnswerShopper, the Range is 40 amps and is located on the model and serial tag of the Range. Hopefully, this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Whirlpool appliances!
A:AnswerI did the same thing.....remodeling, purchased all new appliances, installed, and the stove sticks out a little. I believe this is just how it is made as my cabinets are standard size (I assume yours are, as well). I had not noticed it until I read your note. Let them finish your kitchen and I don't think you will have a problem with it. In 50+ years of moving, redecorating/remodeling, etc., I have never found an appliance that fits perfectly in/around standard sized cabinets. It's obvious that appliances makers and cabinet makers are not in sync!!
Good luck with your remodel and your new appliances!
