A: Hi Higyahow, there is actually not a wash cycle on this dryer. This dryer has a steam feature to help prevent wrinkling and can be selected at the beginning of the cycle. We hope you find this information useful.

A: This dryers heating burner BTU's are 20,000.
Q: How do you know this design is discontinued? I was not able to ascertain that information.

A: I have the earlier model of this unit. Purchased it 9 years ago. The motherboard went bad and the part is no longer available. I can still use the dryer but must use on timed dry because the timer on "delicate" will not cut the unit off. The other cycles still work.
