Q: Can you cut them to fit the length needed?

A: Yes...you can cut them; I found that a hacksaw worked well.

Q: What is included in this kit? How long are the covers? I want to know how many I need to buy to cover the speaker wire up the wall.

A: The following pieces are included in the kit; Qty 4 30" long sections of straight channel Qty 3 Couplings Qty 2 flat 90 degree elbows Qty 1 inside 90 degree elbow Qty 1 outside 90 degree elbow Qty 1 tee

Q: If I have to move it will it remove paint from wall and remain sticky for new location?

A: The adhesive provided on the Cordmate II, as well as our other raceways, bonds to the wall quite strongly. This is very desirable in most applications. However,if you try to remove the Cordmate II from the wall after it sticks it is likely to cause some damage. It will either leave behind a residue which will be difficult to clean or pull some of the surface of the drywall with it as it comes off. If that happens, here as some suggestions as to what you can do to remove the tape residue: The double-sided adhesive used on the back of the raceway has a foam core that can be cut with a razor blade if you are very careful. Use a "filet" technique, pulling up as you go. Then you'll be left with about 1/2 the thickness of the tape still on the wall. You might try rubbing what is left on the wall off manually, wearing rubber gloves. Or you can try scraping it off with a putty knife. If the wall has a gloss finish then you can also consider using an alcohol based solvent to remove the tape residue. If the wall has a flat finish the problem is a bit more difficult because the finish may absorb the solvent that is used. In all cases, I would suggest that you first try in an area that is not visible.

Q: How wide are these cords? I need to fit 4 wires in one room about 3 inches thick total and 2 in another room about 1,5 inches wide total. Which kit is recommended?

A: Yes it can cover an HDMI cable. If there are several cables, you should use the;large' capacity kit. I purchased both kits (just in case) but I ended up using the small kit and returned the large kit. At the store, the credit card was credited in an instant; excellent customer support.

Q: Does this conceal cords on the floor? Entry way between rooms

A: The Cordmate II is not suitable for use on the floor. However, we offer the Corduct Overfloor Cord Protector for that purpose. Below is the URL for the web page where you can see more details about the Corduct on the Legrand web site. https://www.legrand.us/wiremold/at-home/cord-organizers-and-covers/corduct-overfloor-cord-protectors/cocp-corduct-cord-organizer.aspx

Q: Do you need to prime before painting and do you suggest painting before or after attaching to wall?

A: Honestly i would just paint over them. They are white and if your painting your walls white then paint over. Theres no moving them once you put them on.

Q: What is the depth and width of the covers?

A: About an inch wide and like quarter of an inch deep

Q: Trying to cover tv cords. Is the back to run a plug through it

A: Hi Paula, while they are not wide enough to run a plug through, the covers open up and easily click back into place! These are perfect for a TV or other wall mounted object!
