Very nice kit for the price. Hides the wires to my 5.1 surround sound system. Easy to install and makes the speaker installation look much more professional.

Got this on a sale, think it was a daily deal. In any case, meets the need of putting wires in the wall. And, includes a way to route the wires and cut the hole, all in one box. Was a really good deal at near $5, but is likely worth more than that if you can't find it on sale. One thing is I would make the trim have a little deeper shoulder to allow for an adjustment if the hole isn't cut just right.

The tools are provided for an easier install. Looks good when finished. Tube is permanent in the wall, a bit cheaply made, but does the job. Good for low voltage and you really don't want to run the power cord through it. Your electrician can mount an outlet behind the set.

If looking to hide wires running up to your surround sound, center channel, or main channel speakers, this is an ideal solution as long as your speakers do not weight too much. Spec sheet for this product says the top wall piece will support as much as 10 pounds, but I would not personally test that theory win my own home. Simple, easy to use/install (note: I cheated and used a cordless drill w/ the hole saw bit rather than use the hand tool provided). Well worth the money I spent!

I just got 3 of these, they are on a crazy good sale from BestBuy, it is well worth the price, I went to install one in the bedroom and it comes with everything you need, I did not even need to use my drill, my tip, dont install on any exterior walls as the insulation may get in your way.

Okay, so at retail price ($40! are you kidding me) this would be a complete waste of money (just go buy a couple desk top grommets, they cost around $1.50-$2 each at Home Depot and that's it really), however this is not retail price and for under $5.00 ( picked up 4 sets at under $3.00 a kit, open box items) this is an amazing deal. The hardware alone (including 2 2" hole saws per kit (with easy drill attachments), 8 ft of 16awg speaker wire (though it sort of looks more like 18awg), and about 9 ft of fishing tape poles (speaker wire guides)) is worth way more than the measly couple of dollars this kit costs (the hole saws alone are over $7.00 each at Lowes). Now the installation process can be very simple or rather painstaking (I experienced both while installing the kits) but this really has nothing to do with the kit and all to do with what type of wall you are having to work with. Overall, the setup (once you have figured out where to drill and have run the fishing poles (which is usually the most annoying part in my experience)) is very straightforward and the wire connections on the bottom grommet make hooking up the speaker wires extremely pain free (no need to splice or anything like that). So to conclude, for only $5, at most, if you have been looking for an easier and more aesthetically acceptable way to run speaker wires up to wall mounted speakers then this is a definite solution.

Great for clean installation of TWO speakers. Hides the cables behind the wall (of course, only if you need to run the calbes horizontally, you need to have an unfinished wall). The included cables are short - only about 8 ft each. You would likely need a crimping tool if you are planning to use your own cable. Otherwise they look good when installed. Would have liked to see banana plugs instead of the old push style connectors, but they work and look good.

Great quality. Instructions are clear. Includes everything you need to install in the wall. Unfortunately, because of the internal structure of my wall, I wasn't able to fish the speaker wire all the way down to the floor.
