Q: Questiondo these come with a 3.5 mm plug and are they compatable with pcs(3 answers)
A: AnswerI don't own these but my assumption would be no... instead you would need a receiver or a DAC/Amp. You would connect the PC to the DAC/Amp or Receiver via USB. Then you would connect the DAC/Amp to the speakers using regular speaker wire. This would be a better set up than any computer speakers available.Answered by Greg
Q: QuestionWhat is the best wall mount bracket for these speakers?(1 answer)
A: AnswerTo be honest Best Buy does not sell a GOOD option for brackets for these speakers. I bought the largest brackets they sell, the Sanus WMS2, and they BARELY work. So, while you could use the WMS2, I would recommend looking elsewhere. The pictures do not do justice how big these bookshelf speakers are.Answered by jevchance

- A: Answerjmac, yes you will need some sort of amplifier to power the speakers. You will likely also need some kind of pre-amplifier to control volume and select input (CD Player). If you buy a receiver, they have amplifier and pre-amplifier in one unit, so this is often the most cost effective way to go. If you do not plan on upgrading to surround sound in the future, I recommend purchasing a stereo receiver like the Yamaha R-S202BL. Surround sound receivers are a bit more complex to configure so if you aren't going to get surround sound you might want to keep it simple. Hope this helps.

- A: AnswerMust consider the crossover network as part of the speaker system, which typically has induction coils, capacitors, and resistors. Generally speaking, your amp should run OK if your speaker system is rated between 4 to 8 ohms (4 is usual for cars and 8 is usual for home). Car amp is low voltage and will run hot if you pile too much load on it.

Classic 90's architecture that remains effective
The sealed box features a classic acoustic suspension system that gives greater depth of sound with clean image on vocals. The 8 in woofer delivers great clean tight bass that comes out when its supposed to and is punchy in the mids.*Do note the speaker needs a break in period of about 60-80hrs before the woofers truly come to their full potential** Only downside the crossover between the 8in woofer and 4in woofer could use improvement but for the price its not a big deal. Especially if used in conjunction with other 2 way speakers its not too noticeable.

These speakers provided a good, warm acoustic sound, a strong high pitch note with an affordable price. It is a good deal right there.

Awsome Old School!!
Totally impressed with sound quality of these speakers. Excellent range from high to low. Nice sturdy case. A bit big for bookshelves. Better have a sturdy shelf because they're fairly large and heavy. Plenty of power for a 20'x20' room. A bargain at $169.
