(25.4 cm x 61 cm) How to Die Cut Dresden Plate Quilt Blocks: For best cutting results, position fabric on the lengthwise grain (straight of grain) as it goes under the roller. Pointed Plates: Cut a 6" strip across the width of fabric. Fanfold into 8 3/4" widths. Place on selected blade and cut. Cut 16 pointed plates across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 96 pointed plates. Rounded Plates: Cut a 6" strip across the width of fabric. Fanfold into 8 3/4" widths. Place on selected blade and cut. Cut 16 rounded plates across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 96 rounded plates. 4" Circles: Cut a 4 1/2" strip across the width of fabric. Fanfold into 9" widths.
